Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 189

The way he got angry was similar to Angel--not allowing others to take their food away.

Monique looked at Henry with a smile.

“I’m eating this because I don’t want you to overeat,” Henry added.

Monique smirked and gave him a condescending look, as if she was telling him to hurry up and eat.

Henry picked up the cutlery and, forgetting about his hygiene concerns, started inhaling the pasta.

Nothing felt better than freely eating with another person. When Monique finished her food, she heard a magnetic voice, “I’ll have one more please. A big one.”

Monique suppressed her giggle and said in a serious manner, “Actually, it’s not that spectacular. The taste is pretty average… How about we just stop here?”

Henry glared and teased, “Are you that stingy? This portion isn’t enough for me.”

Monique stuck her tongue out. “I don’t see you eating this much normally.”

“Normally… I…I didn’t have breakfast this morning,” Henry said sheepishly.

“Hmm.” Monique nodded her head patronizingly and left her seat to happily order another plate.

After the pasta was served, Henry dived right in. He still looked elegant, even though he was eating huge mouthfuls. Monique sat there and watched him eat after she finished. At that moment, she felt that everything in her life fall in place.

After some time, Henry devoured the entire plate of pasta and made a satisfying burp.

Monique was stunned briefly before bursting into laughter. She never expected Chairman Moore to burp in front of her. Instantly, she found the man much closer to real life, unlike the usual superior facade that he usually put up.

Henry was unfazed by her reaction. He curled his lips slightly when he saw her brilliant smile and said, “Are you done laughing? Let’s go.”
