Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 19

An idea struck him. He grinned and said, “We’re working overtime today. Call Mansion Coffee and order each of them a cup of coffee, get them to send it over right away.”

He became frustrated with himself after saying that; he was doing all of this for a woman.

“Okay, sir,” Jane said respectfully before leaving. Seeing how the CEO’s expression changed from a dark one to excitement, she was left confused. Could it be that he was into that ordinary employee? It was impossible to guess what the CEO was thinking!

However, the overtime was necessary as the CEO said so. There were cries everywhere once the announcement was made.

“Ring, ring, ring…” Mansion Coffee received a delivery order from Marriott International just before they were about to close.

“Monique, deliver the coffee,” Cindy shouted at her arrogantly.

Since the manager, Sacha, had already left the café, everyone had to give in to Cindy’s demands recently as she had a close rapport with Sacha.

Jane was already changed; she was about to go home.

“Deliver them yourself,” Jane shouted before running off. She had been delivering coffee all day; she was exhausted at this point. If she delivered this order, she would not get home in time to cook for Little Nomi.

Cindy was pissed watching Monique run off. She had no choice but to deliver the coffee herself.

The coffee was delivered to Marriott International half an hour later.

Jane sent one to Chairman Moore. She put the cup down respectfully and took a step back.

Young Master Moore had a dark expression on his face; his brows were scrunched together. Why wasn’t that damn woman in here yet!

“Young Master Moore, if you have no other requests, I’ll leave you to it.” Jane had been working for him for years; she knew how his temperament was. He would never ask for coffee to be delivered without reason.

“Ask the woman who sent the coffee over to come in,” Henry said nonchalantly.

‘Didn’t this dishonest woman promise to return the clothes? Why didn’t she bring them?’ Henry wanted to ask these questions.

Jane was lost. The CEO used to send away debutantes who wanted to meet him, what was going on these days…

Jane stared suspiciously at the young woman outside with heavy makeup on. She was puzzled; she had met many beautiful women in her life, and the one before her eyes was really ordinary. It was obvious that this was an especially vain woman.

“The chairman asked for you,” Jane said to Cindy coldly while pointing at her.

“The chairman is asking for me!” Cindy was as excited as someone who won the lottery.

She did not know how old the chairman was since it must take a certain age to be in that position. However, it did not matter; the chairman must be rich!

The reason why she worked at a café was to meet a rich man anyway; otherwise, who would be willing to work at one?

“Mr. Chairman, you asked for me?” Cindy jogged in with a wide smile.

She had a beautiful body with curves in the right places. Her eyes were shining through her heavy makeup as she smiled at the chairman. She was on the brink of salivating.

God, this man was too handsome. His sculpted face, beautiful brows, straight nose, and his sharp features were perfect. He looked so handsome that it was impeccable; he seemed like a prince from a comic book.

His toned body was wrapped in a clean, white shirt. He had his top two buttons open, which showed off his chest muscles. He had an inherently aristocratic vibe to him, which was memorizing to people.
