Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 212

Monique's face blossomed like a flower when she got her breakfast from Henry as she smiled and said, "Thank you, my lord."

Monique's tone had been like the stream flowing from the mountains, so gentle that it comforted the hearts of others.

However, Henry's pupil slightly constricted and felt a pinch in the heart. He realized that Monique intentionally answered in that manner to irritate him.

Henry continued, "At least you know where you stand."

Monique was so hungry that she could eat a horse. The nice scent of the food stimulated her sense of smell and that just made her even hungrier. She did not bother entertaining Henry anymore as she opened up the packaging and took a huge bite of her burger. The patty of the burger had been so juicy, and tender, but it had been as delicious as the one she had back in her hometown.

She took another huge bite of the burger before she could even have swallowed her first bite, having stuffed her mouth full like a chipmunk.

Henry could not tolerate the sight of it as he took a piece of tissue paper and wiped off Monique's oily mouth, "Chew and eat properly, don't choke yourself."

Monique had been stunned at that familiar speech. Tears filled her eyes as she remained silent and chewed her food for a moment before swallowing the burger.

She took a sip of her milk tea and that calmed her down. She then said, "Aren't you going to eat? The food tastes delicious."

"I want you to feed me!" Henry hissed.

Monique regretted being concerned about Henry. If she had known he was going to have said this, she would not have asked him in the first place.

Monique clenched her teeth as she forced out a fake smile and fed Henry a piece of pretzel like coaxing a child, "Say ah…"

Henry burst into laughter seeing Monique's serious expression. A delightful smile was carved on his face.

He opened his mouth wide and took a bite of the pretzel.

Monique then continued indulging in her food as she took huge bites one after another, ignoring how she looked like.

Usually, she would not have behaved that way.
