Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 218

Monique brought Angel into the car. Angel had been thrilled when she saw Henry and asked him for a hug and kiss. Henry responded to her request and kissed her on the face.

Shaun ignited the car and drove while Monique sat quietly at the rear seat, her gaze focused on the outside.

Monique saw a towering and skinny silhouette having slowly disappeared from her view. She looked into the rear mirror and that person had still been standing at the same spot, seeing her off.

Monique had mixed feelings and felt extremely lethargic as she shut her eyes tight.

Simon waved her farewell from far away, his mouth having muttered words that seemed to have been 'Monique, take good care of yourself!'

Henry had a conversation with Angel and did not seem to have caught the scene that just occurred and had not noticed any abnormalities in Monique. Instead, he asked, "Are you feeling tired?"

Monique nodded, as her eyes remained shut.

She prayed hard that Henry would not have asked her to open her eyes as tears would have started streaming down her face.

'She must be very fatigued by now.' Indeed, Monique had been tormented by Henry for the whole night, yet she still had the stamina to have walked on her own feet. Henry then ordered Shaun, "Put on some music."

Shaun fumbled as he recalled the last time he had tried putting on some music, Henry seemed to have been discontented with all of it.

Shaun cautiously asked, "The same music as last time?"

"Yes." Henry nodded in agreement.

Shaun turned on the music, it had been Bandari, a piece of very soft and soothing music.

Monique’s tense eyebrows had now been laxed.

However, anyone would have gotten bored with it after having listened to it for some time, especially after having listened to the music all day and night. Angel frowned, as she said in a disgusted tone, "Daddy, why is it always this music?"

Henry frowned, "Why? You don't like it?"
