Monique saw no response from her and thought she did not hear what she said. She repeated again, “Please give it to me, Henry wanted me to help him.”
This woman even used his name to give her orders. This servant had worked in the manor for a long time, she was not an amateur when it came to this. She smiled and replied, “It would be better if I complete the laborious task.”
She wanted to go in after finishing her sentence. Monique wanted to let her in, but when she thought of the look in his eyes when he looked at her, she stopped the servant, “I’ll do it, or else he would be mad.”
It was scary when Henry was mad. The servant hesitated.
Monique took over the toiletries. The servant gave her a stiff smile, the unwillingness in her eyes were obvious. She could not understand it, would it not be nice if someone did her chores? Why did she look like she was in grief? Even so, she smiled and comforted her, “Maybe he just wanted a change for fun. Tomorrow. I’ll let you do your job tomorrow.”
The servant’s mood was better now, “Really?”
“Of course!” Monique raised her eyebrows and promised.
After that, she turned over and took a few deep breaths before she opened the door and walked into the room. When she went back into the room, she saw Henry was still lying elegantly on the bed. The breath she took in was useless. She could feel that her blood pressure was accelerating. Was he planning to let her wash him up while he lay on the bed?
Her mind was in a mess when she imagined the scene. She gripped on the toiletries tightly and bit her lips as she walked toward him. For god sake, not everyone could put up with this man. She had a hot temper, and she really wished to strangle him now.
However, when she walked to the bed and looked at the handsome man in front of her, she smiled, “Henny, I brought the toiletries. You should get up.”
