The second sales girl looked at Monique as she walked out of the fitting room and exclaimed, “You look so beautiful! Just like an angel that descended from heaven.”
The sales girl’s eyes were full of astonishment.
Monique felt that she did not deserve such a compliment. She knew that sales people always had to speak against their conscience and would compliment all the shoppers.
She walked to the mirror and looked at her reflection in the mirror. She suspected that this was a magic mirror. The lady in the mirror looked too beautiful, nothing like herself.
She stared at the beautiful lady in the mirror. Her fair neck uncovered in the tulle of a blue tube top. The waist-cutting and ankle-length dress outlined her slender waist. The dress was embellished with purple gems and blue flowers. It looked astonishing!
With her neat short hair, she looked just like a queen, so domineering yet beautiful.
This dress was more gorgeous than the one gifted by the store last time.
Monique could not believe that the person in the mirror was herself. She would be lying if she told people that this dress looked ugly and she disliked it.
The dress fitted her perfectly as though it was tailor made for her.
All the excuses she had premeditated in the fitting room were stuck in her throat the moment she saw her reflection in the mirror.
The second sales girl praised her, “Wow! Miss, this dress seems to be tailor made for you. You look too beautiful in this. The blue colour suits you very well, accentuating your fair and tender skin,” she could not stop complimenting Monique as a light flashed in her eyes.
A rich lady had also tried on this dress before her but the dress did not have an effect as amazing as Monique when she tried it on.
However, the sales girl earlier was unresigned. “It is indeed beautiful. However, can you afford this?”
