Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 247

Henry nearly burst into laughter as he found it hilarious seeing Monique on the ground right in front of him.

All the salesmen beside them were startled. Some quietly laughed while others immediately extended a helping hand to their 'VIP'. However, most of them were holding too many clothes which were too pricey to just dump on the floor.

Henry beamed at those who were laughing quietly from behind with a cold glare, making them tremble. All of a sudden, none of them dared to laugh—some were even on the brink of weeping.

Henry's emotionless expression he stared at the salesmen with was completely different from when he was looking at Monique.

Henry got down on one of his knees and teased, "I didn't know you worshipped me that much that you’d bow before me?"

'Worship my ass!'

Monique did not entertain Henry and just turned a blind eye on him. She then raised her teary gaze and embarrassedly said, "Pull me up."

"I'm sorry, did you forget the magic word?" Henry raised his eyebrows.

Henry's heart melted the instant he saw Monique's pitiful expression. He thought of just teasing Monique but never expected her to put on such an aggrieved expression.

Monique puckered her mouth, and said, "Dearie, please pull me up."

She was totally exhausted. Throughout the day, she had been reminding Henry to stop buying her clothes but he turned a deaf ear to her.

Those salesmen were busy dragging her from one shop to another and forcing her into dressing rooms, which made her feel as though she was going to be torn into pieces. On top of that, Monique could not catch a breath throughout the whole ordeal.

Seeing Monique's pitiful expression, Henry put on a smile as he extended his bony fingers and pinched Monique's soft nose. His eyes were filled with gentleness.
