Little Nomi went ahead and played with the toys with Monique’s permission once Mrs. Lee left.
Monique unpacked their luggage and truth be told, there was nothing more than clothes.
Although it was a great environment, Monique had goosebumps all over thinking about having to spend so much time with that *sshole from now on.
She looked over to the man’s bedroom door with curiosity and fear.
His door was closed, she did not know if he was in.
Meanwhile, Henry was looking at a report with a serious face on the other side of the door. His gaze was a little grim, but there was a hint of excitement on the corner of his lips.
The DNA report stated that he was Little Nomi’s father.
Monique was the woman he had been looking for for the past five years. No wonder he could fall asleep in her car twice.
Little Nomi was his daughter after all and he could not believe that he was the father to such a cute and adorable kid. It was a magical and fortunate feeling; no wonder he liked Little Nomi a lot.
The silly Monique had yet to recognize him so far. He wanted to see how long it would take for her to do so, but before that, he wanted to mess with her.
Mrs. Lee came upstairs and found a peeping Monique adorable. She looked at Monique and said, “Miss Xander, it’s time for your meal.”
Monique felt embarrassed and guilty from being caught in the act. She blushed immediately. Did Mrs. Lee assume that she was peeping at the Young Master?
Monique went to the other room and called Little Nomi to join her for the meal. Little Nomi was having too much fun. She loved the place so much that she reluctantly joined her mother downstairs. She had never owned this many toys in her life.
“Mommy, this place is so, so fun,” the little girl said excitedly. Her gaze was filled with happiness.
