Jacob then headed over to Manager Hayley's office. He was frowning as he said, "Manager Hayley, what do you plan to do with the new planning assistant?"

Manager Hayley then said, "What's the point of being an assistant manager if you have to ask me simple things?"

Assistant Manager Walt puckered his mouth as he thought, 'Didn't Manager Hayley know that this woman was sent here by the chairman?'

Assistant Manager Walt gave a second thought and decided to subtly remind him, "I heard that this woman was sent here by the chairman. I wonder if she's here to really work or to investigate our workplace?"

"Then shouldn't you assign a task for her?" Manager Hayley coldly glared at Assistant Manager Walt.

Assistant Manager Walt casually said, "Alright, I’ll make the arrangements."

However, Assistant Manager Walt dared not implement the usual standardized operational protocol for newcomers. After all, he realized just how special her status was. Things could be unpredictable. She was here as a planning assistant for the time being. Someday, she might show up as the wife of the chairman.

Assistant Manager Walt chose the simplest proposal. A proposal regarding a new accessory from the branch office. Usually, handling proposals was not under the working scope of a planning assistant but a planning specialist. Planning specialists would provide a clear vision, collect relevant data and finally come out with a proposal.

However, there would be a commission rewarded for every proposal that was done. If Monique was able to do a good job on this proposal, she will be rewarded with a commission.

Assistant Manager Walt was diligently making the arrangements. He assigned Amelia who was an experienced planning specialist to assist Monique.

Amelia was dissatisfied, "On what basis I should assist a new assistant?"

Assistant Manager Walt said sternly, "You'll just have to follow my instructions. If you don't carry it out properly, you'll be fired."

Her eyes swirled with malcontent as she clenched her teeth, "Fine."

Amelia initially started off as a planning assistant as well. She put in tremendous effort and was finally able to attain a position as a planning specialist. Therefore, Amelia's expression went dark when she was ordered to assist a planning assistant.
