Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 316

It was tough for Monique to believe that Angel would be involved in a fight. She immediately answered, "Alright, I'll be there right away."

Monique hung up, looking at the proposal with a troubled expression. It had been a hectic afternoon and working hours would be over in just another hour. She would not be able to have her proposal submitted on time if she were to make a trip to the kindergarten and come back to finish the proposal.

She went over to Amelia.

Amelia saw Monique approach her. She smiled and said, "Monique! Anything I can help you with?"

Monique nodded, embarrassed, "Miss Amelia, something urgent came up and I need to leave now. I'm not done with the proposal. Can I come back and finish it later?"

Amelia was shocked to hear it; that would mean she would have to work overtime for even longer. Nevertheless, she forced a warm smile. "Why don’t you send what you've done to me first and I'll go through it. Also, I'll finish up the remaining part, otherwise we won't make it in time. This proposal is for tomorrow."

Monique had no choice but to go ahead with her offer, despite her really wanting to complete the entire proposal by herself.

"Thank you, Miss Amelia. I'll treat you to a meal some other time then." Monique's long and thick eyelashes blinked as she expressed her appreciation. She then headed back to her desk to send her proposal to Amelia.

Monique glanced at the monitor, then shifted her gaze to Amelia. "Miss Amelia, how am I supposed to send you the proposal?"

Amelia replied, "You can just send it to my email. What's your email address?"

"Email? I don't have an email address…" Monique had heard about emailing, but she never created one for herself. She seldom emailed.

Amelia was dumbfounded. 'There are still people in this era who don’t own an email address?'

Again, Amelia thought back. Monique's status was extraordinary; she was the chairman's girlfriend, so stood to reason that she might not want others to know her email address.
