Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 331

She even washed her face and used the skincare products Henry put on the vanity that she rarely touched. She chose a leave-on facial mask and applied it to her face.

Her heart was thumping because she was nervous. She looked at the mirror and tried her best to smile sweetly, but it looked awkward no matter how she tried. She walked out from the bathroom, and just as she was about to leave the room, she went back to the bathroom again. She changed into another set of sportier pajamas. She thought wearing a nightdress was too deliberate, as if she really had cleaned up to wait for him.

After a moment of thought, she changed back into the black dress she wore that morning. She washed off the cream on her face afterward. Even though it was gone, she actually felt her face looked softer in an instant. She finally walked out from her room. It was getting late, she wondered if Henry would be back tonight.

Henry had just got off the plane, and Mandy was already waiting for him at the airport. When he went into the car, Mandy asked, “Mr. Moore, do you want to get something to eat?”

“No, head home right away.” Henry moved his lips only slightly.

Mandy wanted to say something, but when she saw Henry habitually purse his lips, she kept quiet instead. Once the chairman had decided on something, it would be hard to make him change his decision. Besides, Shaun said he had not rested for two days; she could tell Mrs. Lawson to prepare something for him to eat later, so he could rest as soon as possible.

The car moved steadily on the road, but Henry thought it too slow. He lifted his lips and said, “Speed up.”

“Yes, sir.” Mandy replied, she thought he was tired and wanted to go home to get a good rest, so she hit the accelerator.
