Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 335

When she thought about the things she had to do with him later, her face was flustered and red. Her mind was buzzing and she could not think properly. She forced a smile and said, “Enjoy your meal. I’ll go and get a towel to dry your hair.”

She stood up and ran off to get a towel. Henry’s smile broadened as he watched her, thinking her as cute as a young girl. What an interesting woman.

Monique went to the bathroom and found a towel. She could feel her hands shaking; she could like she was prey about to be eaten by a predator.

She scolded herself for how useless she was being. This was not her first time. She took a deep breath and walked out.

When Henry saw how composed she was, a trace of evil glinted in his grin.

“Do you want some?” he asked.

Her heart was still racing, and she thought he was really interesting. He did not ask her if she wanted some when he was eating earlier, yet he asked just as he was about to finish. Was it really appropriate to bully her like that?

“I’m still full.” Monique pouted.

Henry did not say a word and finished the soup.

She walked over when he was done, and rubbed his hair with the towel. She remembered the computer she broke yesterday, but forgot to ask Mrs. Lawson if it was fixed. She did not know how to tell him. Would he be angry if she told him now?

Maybe she should wait a little longer.

Most people said that men’s brains are between their legs. On TV, favors were usually asked after the deed. Would he be a little less angry after that?
