“Okay.” Angel nodded. Her voice sounded soft.
Henry brought Angel downstairs and placed her at the dining table. Mrs. Lawson had prepared some delicious food for her.
Henry washed himself up, got changed and stood in front of the mirror. He looked at the man in the mirror with a strong chest.
He seemed to raise his lips in satisfaction. No one could resist his charm. He took a white shirt and put it on himself.
He paired it with suit pants. It was a simple pairing, however he looked more gorgeous in it.
Henry walked out after he got changed. Angel looked at Henry as he walked out. He had a tall and straight figure, he looked so handsome in his luxurious clothes, like a gorgeous prince, handsome and elegant.
‘He had even rescued us. He could protect mommy. He was indeed a match with mommy but why had mommy always said she wanted to leave? Moreover, they seemed to get along with each other fine. Why did mommy cry so sadly that day?’
Angel could not understand the adult’s world. She raised the corners of her lips and smiled sweetly at daddy. “Daddy, you are so handsome!”
Angel smiled, “Daddy, where have you been these days?”
“I went on a business trip to Country D. I was in a hurry so I forgot to tell you.” Henry took a seat beside Angel as he spoke.
“Was Country D fun?” Angel opened her big black eyes and asked Henry curiously.
Henry had only gone on business trips each time. He had never travelled around. He lifted his brows casually and said, “It was okay. I was busy so I never travelled around.”
He turned around and looked at Angel’s little pink face after he finished talking, then added, “I will bring you and mommy together on holiday when I am free.”
“Is that true?” A bright light flashed through Angel’s crystal clear eyes. Her long lashes fluttered twice like butterfly feathers.
Henry raised the corners of his lips slightly, “Yes. Have your meal first.”
