While Monique was still stunned, Yvonne had passed the phone to Monique. “My Dad’s on the line. He’s asking for you.”

Monique was stunned. Yvonne reminded her once again before she picked up the phone. “Uncle.”

A loving middle-aged male voice sounded from the other side of the phone. “Thank you, Monnie! I heard from Yvonne that she’s now working at Marriott International. You must’ve helped her a lot.”

Monique frowned and answered, “No.”

She did not help her at all. Monique had only found out the day before that Yvonne went to Marriott International and did so in her own capacity.

“You’re just being humble. I know that you must’ve helped her out. Your aunt spoiled Yvonne so she’s rather immature. May you be more forgiving to her in the company,” Zephyrus said lovingly. He indeed loved Monique dearly. And even though Yvonne was immature, she was still his biological daughter. Although Zephyrus was scolding her, he truly doted on his daughter.

Monique understood what her uncle meant. She also understood her uncle’s fatherly love for Yvonne.
