Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 366

Monique planned to step back after planting a few kisses, but Henry threaded his slender fingers into her long locks and gently held the back of her head and deepened the kiss.

He kissed her until she was out of breath, slowly losing her senses as she forgot where she was and how to breathe. She felt as though she no longer had control of her body and her heartbeat.

Monique was of the opinion that if he did not have his arms around her, she might have collapsed to the floor.

He continued to kiss her for quite a while before he stopped. Her face was bright red from blushing, she was also gasping for air as if her brain was depleted from oxygen.

“How initiative of you,” he said in a sexy and magnetic voice. There was mockery in his tone, with an underlying hint of happiness.

He glanced through the crowd and saw that Nick was no longer standing at the corner.

He wanted to show him that she was his and no one was allowed to touch her. He was pleasantly surprised when she initiated the kiss.

A flicker of pride flashed across his eyes.

Monique took a few deep breaths to calm down in order for her to breathe normally again. She looked at him with her big brown eyes—the taut lines on his face had softened and his tightly pursed lips were slightly curved.

“Can we go now?” Monique’s face was still flushed red from that extended kiss. Her glazed eyes made her look even more appealing.

She felt very out of place and it made her anxious. She was so nervous that she was not thinking straight and decided to kiss him with so many pairs of eyes looking at them.

She was more afraid that he would send her to someone else.

Henry nodded and glanced through the crowd with an icy glare. The murmuring sound from those who were judging Monique immediately averted their gaze and pretended to take a sip of their drinks or do something else.

Monique pursed her lips, unfazed by their reactions. She had already gotten used to it.
