He did promise her before, yet he had now changed his mind. He inexplicably did not want them to leave this place.
“I changed my mind. You have to be on standby twenty four hours.” Henry raised his eyebrows slightly with his low and hoarse voice, he had even emphasized the words ‘twenty four’. His words sounded unexplainably flirtatious.
Monique was shocked by his words that her eyeballs nearly popped out. The scene of him kissing her had again appeared in her mind. ‘Twenty four hours on standby, had he gone mad?’
Monique was truly furious. Rage filled her heart.
“No! I have to drive a rental car out there to earn money and repay you. Otherwise, how long more would it take until I fully settle my debt?” Monique argued eloquently.
She finally found an opportunity to tell him that she had to go out to earn money and return it to him sooner, otherwise she would have gone mad constantly being triggered by him.
Henry stopped what he was doing and put the papers down. He raised his eyes, looking at the woman in front of him with a delicate face. Her feeling of disgust was fully visible on her face and her eagerness to leave lit up the anger in his heart.
His face was blue and the veins on his forehead were prominent, making him look really scary.
His cold black eyes, sharp like a sword coldly shot at the woman in front of him. Others had been trying everything they could to flatter him, yet this woman wanted to leave in every possible way.
If it were not for cute Angel, his daughter, he would not have made her stay.
Angel loved her mother so much, he was afraid that she might not be able to accept it if he forcefully separated both of them.
‘Just give me two years.’ Henry thought to himself. Once Angel got used to him after two years, he would not want to keep this stupid ignorant woman!
“Two years, it’s up to you to leave or stay after two years,” The words that were slowly coming out of his mouth sounded chilly.
