Louise roared.
Henry's face muscles tensed and his eyes reddened.
He started to feel disgusted with himself. He could not believe he had lost control and acted so rashly.
He was not himself; he wished everything that had happened was just a dream.
However, when he lifted Monique's shirt, the image burned into his eyes, reminding him that it was not a dream, but reality. The truth was that he forced Monique into having an intimate relationship with him.
"You just have to obey my instructions," Henry said with a very cold tone, his lips clenched, trying his best to remain composed.
Shivers were sent down Louise's spine as she started shaking.
Louise’s urge to curse Henry was drowned. Henry's tone was rather cold-hearted, yet Louise was able to make out a sense of sadness in it. After all, the man standing before her used to be her idol who had always been at the top of society with an elegant and prestigious aura.
Henry marched to the entrance after that and eventually came to a halt when he passed Louise. "Stay here tonight to keep her company. Remember to give her the medicine. If she regains consciousness, let her know that I went to pick up Angel. Ask her to just get enough rest."
Louise stood frozen, surprised that Henry was explicitly expressing his concern for Monique.
Just what on earth had happened?
There had to be some misunderstanding.
There was a sense of confusion when Louise turned to look at Henry's back; she could sense his loneliness.
Henry left the office. Louise picked up the medicine and went to the bed. She followed the physician's prescription and prepared the exact dosage. However, Monique was still unconscious. With a clean plastic bag, Louise crushed the medicine into powder form and mixed it with water. She found a bottle and started feeding Monique the medication.
After giving her the medicine, she went to get some clean water and soaked a towel into it, then placed it on Monique's forehead to reduce her temperature.
Mandy arrived at the kindergarten. Before that, she managed to look up the profile of the principal, Simon Leeds, and came to know that he was its pioneer. It had just been operating for two years and it was a huge success because of its good reputation and reasonable fees.
