The pretty secretary was touched by Angel’s adorable look.
How on earth could there be such a beautiful and mature kid.
Apparently her mother taught her well.
Louise was still sound asleep as she did not sleep well the previous night. She quickly picked up her phone as she heard her phone rang just so that she would not awaken Monique. “Hello.”
“Louise, I am Ysabelle, the receptionist. Why did you not come to work today?” asked Ysabelle.
Louise said, “Ysabelle, I have something on today. Could you apply for leave on my behalf?”
“Pretty aunty, let me speak to Aunt Louise,” Angel said with her head lifted. Her small hand held high. She could not wait to snatch over the phone.
Kids are kids. There was no difference between people with different statuses in her eyes that she could treat a receptionist so well.
The receptionist, Ysabelle was so touched. She instantly turned into Angel’s loyal fan. She would be angry if she heard anyone speak ill of this pretty little girl.
She told Louise, “Angel would like to speak to you. Hold on.”
Ysabelle was very close to Louise so she knew of this little girl called Angel.
Louise was confused, ‘Who was Angel?’
The next second she heard the familiar voice of a child, “Aunt Louise, why are you not here today?”
Louise was stunned. Why was Angel looking for her? Was she looking for Monique?
