Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 501

That meant that, so long as Stella succeeded in taking over the role of Angel's mother, she would then have a shot at marrying Henry.

Stella recovered, as though her soul had returned to her body.

Stella was willing to do anything for Henry, as long as he was willing to marry her; she would gladly look after Henry's daughter.

Henry faintly nodded, implying that he agreed to Stella's statement.

"No way!" Logan rejected the opinion. "Stella is still a young woman. I know that she likes you, but to suddenly make her into a child's mother--a single parent--what would people think? How will she live her life if that happens?"

"Got it!" Henry said darkly.

Henry had never thought it through with Stella. He only knew that Stella was a very kind woman who had always had a crush on him. Henry deemed Stella to be the best candidate as Angel's mother.

If Stella did not want to take the offer, then Henry had no choice but to look for another candidate.

"I want it! I can be a good mother to Angel. I don't care what others think of me, so long as I can be with Henry; I'll love Angel even more than her real mother."

"Shut your mouth, Stella!" roared Logan.

Even though Stella was not Logan's biological sister, he had always treated her as if she was. Moreover, the matter revolved around Stella's status and her happiness.

"Brother!" Stella said shyly, coming to Logan with teary eyes. "I know you care for me, but I'm an adult. I’m free to decide things on my own. I love Henry. I really love him and I'll only marry him--no one else. Please help me with this, Logan. I'm begging you!"

Stella pulled Logan's hand, her eyes filling with tears.

It was always this routine. Logan always gave in when Stella was like this.
