She had to work hard to give Little Nomi a good life.
She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths before she started to read the documents seriously.
Louise walked up with food.
She originally thought that Monique might be sad.
"Could she be crying secretly in the office?"
Thinking of this, she quickened her pace and walked to the office.
The office was very quiet, and there was no sound of crying as Louise said.
Louise came in. The others were still in the staff canteen, and Monique was already sitting in her own seat.
Louise walked over with food.
Monique was seriously recording something.
She didn't notice Louise coming up.
Louise was full of question in her mind.
"Is Monique too sad, or is there anything wrong about her?"
"Monique!" Louise pursed her lips to comfort her. "Don't be too sad. I just looked at the president without looking at that woman. I swear, he really didn't look at her at all."
Monique's hand paused. Of course, she knew what Louise was talking about.
They were all eating together, so how could they not look at each other at all?
"He must be affectionate."
She knew that Louise had said that to comfort her.
"Why are you sad?" Monique looked at the document and asked without looking back, "What are you talking about?"
Her tone was calm as if nothing had happened.
Louise was stunned for a moment. There was a moment of silence in the air.
