“Right, she was just a janitor back then. Now that she’s someone’s mistress, she’s acting like this. I’ve never seen someone so shameless.”
“She probably doesn’t know who the father of her daughter is.”
“I know right, Cindy would never stoop to her level.”
“Such a vain gold-digging woman.”
The people around them started criticizing Monique.
“That’s enough, Monique. Get out of here before I throw you out!” Sacha said sternly and frowned in disdain. If not for the customers, he would have splashed the coffee back at her.
Cindy curled her lips wickedly and could not suppress a triumphant glare. Monique did not stand a chance against her; she would just humiliate herself.
Cindy felt satisfied to see Monique fuming in anger.
Monique was dumbfounded. No one believed her! She touched her forehead helplessly.
She tried her best to calm down. Then, she frowned and scowled, “This coffee is not for me. It’s for Marriott’s Chairman Moore. Cindy, your actions will cost Mansion Coffee to lose all its orders from Marriott International. If the Chairman gave an order, none of the staff would dare buy coffee from here. That’s a huge loss.”
Monique snickered and glanced at Sacha, “Also Sacha, as manager, you’re now an accomplice by supporting her without investigating the truth. Good luck keeping your job.”
Sacha was stunned at the calmness in Monique’s tone.
