"What are you talking about? Why are you so happy?" A deep male voice came from the door, magnetic and pleasant to listen to.
Monique's back stiffened slightly. Didn't he go to send Little Nomi to school? Why didn't he go straight back to the company?
Monique did not look back, nor did she answer.
Thinking of what had happened last night, she felt very embarrassed.
She pretended to lower her head and did not hear what Henry said.
Mrs. Lee smiled happily. "Monique said that she would perform on the Mid-Autumn Festival night. She invited us to watch her performance."
"What show?" Henry raised his sharp eyebrows slightly, and a surprised look flashed in his handsome black eyes.
Compared with Monique's restraint, Henry was very calm.
His tall, straight, and noble figure sat down opposite Monique. His handsome face was against the light, and he looked at Monique with his dark and deep eyes.
Her short hair fell neatly on her fair and delicate face.
She lowered her head, blinked her long and thick eyelashes, and pursed her lips slightly.
There was a faint blush on her fair face.
Was she shy because of what had happened yesterday?
"Cough cough." Mrs. Lee coughed twice and then walked in to prepare breakfast for Young Master.
When the young master got up in the morning, Little Nomi had finished breakfast already.
The young master sent Little Nomi to school first, and he hadn't eaten yet.
"A performance of dancing, High Mountains and Flowing Water." Monique looked up and tried to make herself look as if nothing was wrong.
Yesterday, she had dinner with Ling Jing.
Henry should know that he was learning how to dance.
He just didn't know which song he was learning.
"Yes." Henry nodded lightly, turned to Mrs. Lee, and said, "Give me a glass of soy milk, fried dough sticks, and dumplings."
After sending Monique back to her room last night, he couldn't help kissing her.
