“Sorry for that,” Eric muttered. “Rosy is my childhood friend and business partner. Nothing more.” Eric explained.

The sincerity of his tone was present but Arabella could not ease her nervousness.

“I understand her. She acted like that because she has a feeling for your brother. I can see she loves you very much.” Arabella blurted.

“Ivan, please give us a moment.” Eric heaved a sigh and winked at the little boy coolly.

Ivan quickly followed and kissed Arabella on the cheek before he left.

“Arabella, listen to me.” Eric’s sincere eyes were fixated on her. “I don’t want Rosy. She’s only my friend. I can’t love anyone only you. Do you understand?” Eric held her hand.

“But if you don’t explain everything to her, that would lead your friendship to be ruined. Can you actually afford to lose her in your life?” Arabella was worried about Eric. She never wanted to be the reason to ruin their friendship.
