You Can Run But You Can't Hide My Contractual Wife novel Chapter 270

Earlier, when Arabella left his warehouse, Sen. Meyer stayed a little longer staring at where Arabella exited.

His fingers ran on the side surface of his table while he was greatly mesmerized by his thoughts.

"Arabella Jones... Jane Foster... you will be my pawn." Sen. Meyer muttered in the air along with his wicked grin. "You will serve me first before I kill you together with your useless father." He continued sounding in the air while his fingers continued to run on the surface.

"You will be my hand who will hold Bill Sky like a puppet. Hahaha!" Sen. Meyer was very satisfied with his plan.

He had been longing to control Bill Sky in his hand for so long.

Bill Sky's money is his greatest dream.

He was patiently waiting that Trishia would do the honor but she only brought great dismay to him.

He had no longer trusted Trishia.

For him, waiting for Trishia to get Bill Sky was like waiting for the crows to be white.

He already dumped his useless adopted child.

Trishia is hopeless.

She had all her chances but still, she could not get Bill Sky to marry her.

Such a useless woman!

Then his memory traveled the day he considered to be his luckiest.

"Where are you going?" He roared angrily seeing Alicia bringing her luggage.

She seemed to be in a hurry.

With one look, someone could easily tell that she was running away.

After their breakfast together, he went out for his usual golf playing session with his friends but he forgot his phone so he asked his driver to turn around and head back to his house.

To his surprise, he bumped his wife when he opened the door.

An intensifying shock was traced on her face as she was holding her luggage.

She was obviously leaving the house with all her luggage and she didn't expect to see her husband at the front door.

"Where do you think you’re going, huh?!" He yelled at her.

No one could leave his house without his permission.

After he almost killed her ex-lover, Alicia became very sweet to him.

He knew what she was doing.

She just wanted him to get rid of the idea of killing her lover.

Obviously, she was protecting him.

So they made a deal and that was for her not to see her lover again.

After that, she took care of him like a real woman in the house.

A perfect wife he ever wanted.

He was amazed by Alicia's beauty when they first met.

Both of their parents had settled their marriage.

She was a perfect lady by his side when he entered his political career.

He received lots of praise because of Alicia's elegance and beauty.

His comrades envied him because of Alicia.

He had a great choice of a wife.

She automatically acted like a perfect wife in front of the crowd but inside his house, she was aloof with him.

She was like a politician too.

She was always showing the good to the public but the real thing was the opposite.

In their marriage, he could not even touch her.

Until he ran out of his patience.

He harassed her and she cursed him for that.

That was the time he found out that she had a lover.

With that happening, she broke up with her lover and continued serving him.

Then he found out she was pregnant.

He was so happy that finally, he would have a child but when he had done the paternal test, it wasn't his child.

With that, he killed the doctor because of his anger.

Heaven seemed to punish him because of what he had done but for him, in his world, there was no heaven.

He considered himself the Lord in his world.

Since he could not get rid of Alicia, he accepted her child.

Admittedly, he was madly in love with his wife, Alicia.

He could not let her go.

Never in his life that he would allow her to go away from his life.

Not to mention, to be with her ex-lover again.

"I can't take it anymore. I served you half of my life. I'm very tired." Alicia answered him back determined to leave the house but Sen. Meyer grabbed all her bags inside and immediately closed the door with a bang.

"You are not going to leave here! Do you understand?" Enraged, Sen. Meyer pushed Alicia forcefully to the couch. “Okay! Let’s come down a little…” He nodded repeatedly trying to pacify the situation. “We are a perfect couple. Everybody loves us. You are my beloved wife, darling. What's all of these?” With controlled vexation, Sen. Meyer tried to find a calm solution before he still could hold his temper.

“Ha! Ha! Ha!” Alicia laughed out loud. The kind of laugh that showed not her happiest but the bitterness of her life.

She was mocking his words. “You never treat me as your wife. You treated me as a prisoner of this house.” She added full of bitterness in her tone.

Ever since they got married, she tried hard to be a good wife to him as what their marriage of convenience’s purpose but she could never teach her heart.

When she was reunited with her ex-lover, she could not help seeing him secretly until Sen. Meyer caught them and he had gone mad.

He shot him.

She thought it was the end of it.

She mourned every day.

The guilt on her side was restless as Sen. Meyer imprisoned her in their room.

That’s when she decided to stay with Sen. Meyer for the good of all.

She didn’t want anyone to get hurt again.

Her daughter Trishia and her ex-lover’s family.

For many, she was living a perfect marriage.

A perfect husband, a perfect daughter, a perfect family.

A perfect life.

But they didn’t know that she is very miserable in her marriage with Sen. Meyer.

“You don’t know what you are saying. You are my wife, okay?” Sen. Meyer raised his two arms to convince her then he massaged his forehead to make himself calm.

“You mean a trophy wife?” Alicia corrected him with deep bitterness in her tone.

Hearing her argument, Sen. Meyer’s controlled anger was unleashed.

He exploded as he attacked Alicia on the couch.

He gripped her neck hard while his expression had completely gone mad.

“I’m very patient with you. You know that!... But you never stopped provoking me!” With one hand on her neck, he raised Alicia to stand and he smashed her on the wall.

His eyeballs were bulging and necklines were appearing due to using excessive strength.
