You Can Run But You Can't Hide My Contractual Wife novel Chapter 285

“Dad, I’m here.” Trishia came after Sen. Meyer summoned her.

“Aren’t you ashamed calling me dad? Look Trishia, I realized that you can’t be my daughter. You are too useless to be one. Well, it’s my fault that I adopt you but then, you see even if I dressed you up with money and elegance, you still look so dumb to me. I just wasted my time and money on you.” Sen. Meyer sounded straightforward.

“Enough dad! Enough!” A great pain directly penetrated her heart as she covered her ears afraid of hearing more of his cruel words.

He never loved her as his real daughter.

He just used her for his political career.

“Stop calling me dad!” With his wooden cane, Sen. Meyer stomped it loudly on the ground. “Just go back to being a slave of your illusions and hallucinations.”

“But dad, I can give you Bill Sky. I’m still just working on it.” After the scandal she had been through Trishia was already out of the limelight.

She had no income and her mother was the only one who was sustaining her from the money of Sen. Meyer.

“No need… No need Trishia. Arabella Jones would give all Bill’s money to me. Aside… I don’t need you anymore!" He sounded merciless.

"Then, why are you asking me to be here now?" With a heavy heart, Trishia controlled her tears from falling.

"Ah! I want to tell you that you have to empty your room. Take all your belongings because....because..." Sen. Meyer's expression was weighing something.

"What is it?" Along with her hatred towards him was her curiosity.

"Nothing... you will all know when the time is right." Sen. Meyer answered. "Just do what I say. Leave the house Trishia. You are no longer needed in this house and you no longer belong here." Sen. Meyer demanded cruelly.

Trishia looked at Sen. Meyer angrily. “Huh! That Arabella Jones is nothing compared to me! You will see! One day, I will prove to you that you are wrong of choosing her over me! One day, there will be the grandest wedding held in this city and that will be my marriage to Bill Sky.” Trishia roared. “And you!” She pointed at the man who was sitting on his working chair. “Your name will not be included in the list or even mentioned at that wedding!”

“Ha!Ha!Ha!” Sen. Meyer laughed out loud. “When is that one-day Trishia? Keep on dreaming!” From Sen. Meyer’s tone, he had no fun with her anymore.

He could only see her as a useless adopted child.

Sen. Meyer quickly stood up and strode away leaving Trishia.

She was very disheartened by his words.

She never got used to his insults.

Trishia clenched her fists and gritted her teeth.

“That one day will come so soon!” Along with her tears, Trishia swore and clenched her fists tightly.

Meanwhile, In City H,

“I want to go home now! I want to see Arabella.” A man’s hands and legs were tied on his bed.

“William, come down.” A woman was pacifying her. “We will come back once you are okay. I promise you that.” William Zimmer was the man who was struggling to get up.

“No! No! I want her now! I miss her a lot! I want to hug her! Let me go! What are you doing to me?” William blurted out crying like he was in deep grief.

“William… Calm down. I am here for you. I will heal you. I will not leave you. Okay?” The woman held his chest and patiently pacified him.

“What if… what if my Anna would leave me? Arabella is Anna, right? Do you believe me? Say that you believe me!” William was back in his obsession.

He badly needed treatment again.

His outburst was uncontrollable and he tend to hurt himself.

His emotions triggered his brain.

Whenever he's angry, he hurt people.

Whenever he’s sad, he hurt himself.

Due to his obsession with Arabella and his long-time girlfriend before, he had a whirlwind of emotions.

With the help of his grandma who happened to be a doctor, he was cured for a while but if he was triggered again, his mental illness always came across the line.

“No. William that would not happen. I promised that would not happen. Okay? I will not let it happen.” The woman stroked his hair gently repeatedly. “Now, take a rest. If you are okay by tomorrow, I promise you that we will go back to Capital Z and see Arabella Jones.” The woman made him calm.

With her promises, William slowly closed his eyes. His breathing was back to normal again.

The woman heaved a very deep sigh as her eyes fixated on William.

‘I am here for you William. I didn’t leave.’ The woman muttered in the air.

The next morning, Eric was on his bed stretching his body.

It was already late but he had no plan to work.

His head was so heavy because of last night.

He had a hangover.

“That girl!” He was cursing the woman in the air with a half mask.

Then his memories traveled last night.

“Sir, the woman would perform in NYC bar tonight.” He recalled his investigator reported it to him.

“Do you already have a name?” Eric asked.

“As of now sir, no one knows the Enchantress and no one had seen her face too.” His investigator replied.

“How about the owner of the club?” Eric could not help but praise the girl’s capability to hide. He had his investigator for too long and he was the best in his field but this girl could not give him any information.

“The owner didn’t know too. He hired her because of her outstanding performance. Aside from that Mr. Grant, her titled Enchantress was popular to all clubs in this city.” Eric agreed with his investigator.

The girl was really good at performing on the stage.

Even though she was wearing a mask, her overall appearance was sexy and beautiful.

Her moves were swift and graceful.

She was good at seducing men.

Eric found those reasons to believe that this girl was really popular in all clubs.

“Okay. Keep me updated.” Eric dropped the call after.

He looked at the time of his watch then he smirked.

He was going to see the woman who slapped him and handcuffed him.

Then he felt his cheek and the girl with many names flashed across his mind.

Two women slapped him.

Those women were hookers and now he was finding them.

He could not believe he was slapped by two women and no one of them was already condemned.

Eric drove his car furiously.

He arrived at NYC Club and he got the most expensive room.

The room was huge and complete with everything.

A billiard table, a minibar with so many different brands of liquors.

6 Sexy girls wearing their short skirts and bras to serve him.

When the girls saw Eric, they were all excited.

Giggles were heard inside the room.

Their customer was so handsome, tall, and sexy.

With his delicate index finger, Eric signed one girl to come to him.

“Hi sir, how may I help you, sir?” The said cutely blushing.

“Is this the best room here that had a good view of the stage?” Eric asked seriously.

“Yes sir. This is the best room here. You will surely enjoy the performance on stage tonight.” The girl answered giggling.

“Hmmm…” Eric nodded and sat on the couch. “Okay, here.” Then he got dollars in his pocket and handed them to the girl.

“What is this for sir?” Puzzled, the servant asked.

Eric crossed his legs and started to pour the whiskey into his glass. “You can all go now.” He answered then he gulped the whiskey in his glass in one go.

Hearing him, the six girls turned around with great disappointment on their faces.
