Nolan's POV
"Nolan!" Someone yelled rather loudly.
"What?" I said sleepily. I opened my eyes, the room was hot and bright. I lived in a kick-ass apartment, with a killer view of the city, but while the view was amazing, it was nearly impossible to sleep in.
Still half asleep, I grabbed the baseball cap on my nightstand and put it on my face, in an attempt to shield my eyes. Next to me, I felt a warm body stir.
"You were talking in you sleep," Olivia -- no, Bianca -- said.
"Yeah, sorry." I rubbed my eyes and focused them on the woman beside me. She was brunette and pretty -- generic. "I was dreaming," I said, looking into her brown eyes. God I love girls with brown eyes. I really lucked up this time.
"What kind of dream?" She smiled brightly, and I smirked.
"You know what kind of dream," I said, pulling her close to me and kissing her on the lips. I didn't know her, but hey, why not take advantage of this perfectly good woman? Besides, she is HOT.
She giggled in surprise, and I turned our bodies so that I was on top of her and her legs wrapped around my waist. "Condom," she said breathlessly, and I nodded.
"Condom," I repeated, reaching over and grabbing one from the nightstand. Isn't this a great start of a morning?
"Listen," I decided to go the candid route this time around, and just lay it all on the table. "Britney." She furrowed her brows, and I realized my mistake. Something with a 'B', I thought to myself.
"Bonnie. Whatever your name is. I don't have time for a relationship. I have to focus on work, and bills, and cars, and not you." She blinked at me, with a face filled with mixed emotions, and I shrugged. "If it helps, I'm sorry."
Before I knew it, she was up on her feet and I was covered in ice cold tea. Man am I glad I didn't order a coffee. "You bastard!" She yelled, and I nodded slowly licking my lips.
"Now that's one I haven't heard in a while," I mumbled, and her mouth dropped. I resisted the urge to laugh, and was rewarded with a very exaggerated groan. She grabbed her purse with an attitude, and then stormed off. "It was nice meeting you," I called, getting a lot of glares from people. I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "Can I get the check, please?"
