Most men abroad would respond when an attractive woman like Evelyn introduced herself.

From the moment when Anthony Holland and Skylar Holland came in, Evelyn's gaze had never left Skylar. Therefore, when he left the room, she wanted to express her admiration for him.

When Skylar heard Lillian's words, he said, "Mom, since the engagement ceremony has been canceled, we should stop talking about it. Otherwise, people are going to misunderstand."

What he was annoyed most was not the Rae family or Valerie. Instead, it was Lillian who kept claiming one-sidedly that Valerie was her daughter-in-law.

"Skylar, did my father say something to you? I know that you are looking for me, but please believe in my feelings for you. No matter what happens, I am willing to be with you and believe in you."

Valerie knew that Anthony was a businessman who valued money.
