Valerie Rae was waiting in the bathroom. She knew what would happen next. Therefore, she was not in a hurry. After waiting for about ten minutes, she took out her mobile phone and called Franklin Moore.

Then, she asked Franklin's date to bring her a sanitary pad.

Franklin's date was a model. Valerie waited for a while in the bathroom before the model handed the item to her. The model said disdainfully, "This is the first time I'm asked to bring this to someone."

Then, she turned around and went out.

Valerie was angry when she heard her words, but she did not lose her temper, for she knew that a good show was about to unveil.

After Valerie came out, she saw Franklin and his date waiting at the entrance of the banquet hall.

Franklin knew that Valerie and Coralie had gone to the bathroom together, so he asked casually, "Where is Coralie?"

In fact, Valerie was waiting for someone to ask this. When she heard Franklin's question, she shook her head with a confused look, "I asked her to help me get it just now. I'm not sure whether she had forgotten about it, but she didn't come back."

"She didn't go back?"

Franklin stood there with his hands in his pockets. When he heard Valerie's words, his expression turned solemn.

He had been puzzled before. Valerie had not been in touch with him for several years. He thought it was strange for her to contact him all of a sudden, and he was suspicious.

"Yeah, isn't she here?"

Valerie's expression was calm. She looked around as though she was searching for Coralie.

"No."

"Why don't we look for her at the locker area?"

Valerie proposed.

Before she could even finish her words, Franklin had already stepped out of the banquet hall.

Valerie's wheelchair was electric-powered. She could control its speed with her fingertips.

Franklin walked fast, and she quickly caught up with him. She asked faintly, "Franklin, you seemed quite concerned about Miss Chariott."

"I'm always concerned about beautiful women."

Although Franklin had said so, he still felt uneasy.

It was a normal occurrence for a person to leave the banquet hall for more than ten minutes, but somehow, he felt that something was amiss.

The two of them arrived at the locker area and saw that the room was empty. Valerie opened her compartment, and everything was lying neatly in it without any signs of being touched.

"Miss Chariott probably didn't come here," Valerie's voice seemed to be nervous as well, "Do you think that something had happened to her?"

"I'll call her."

Franklin called Coralie, but none of his calls were answered.

He thought for a moment and continued to walk toward the banquet hall, "I'll ask my uncle for help."

Skylar Holland was Franklin's uncle. However, he rarely addressed Skylar as his uncle. However, he was really anxious at the moment.

When Franklin ran over, Skylar was still talking business with Jasper Zac.

"Uncle, Coralie is missing."

A man dressed in a waiter's clothes stopped Coralie on her way to bring Valerie her sanitary pad. When she went over, the man named Hayes Jenkins attacked her with a taser.

After some time, Coralie felt a burning pain on her face. It seemed that someone had hit her, but she found it difficult to open her eyes.

After a few seconds, another burning pain came from the other side of her face. She heard Hayes' voice, "Don't you f**king pretend to be dead!"

Coralie didn't know how she was brought here. She had been tasered just now, and she was still sore in her limbs. She could barely move.
