"Hendric!"

Skylar rushed over hurriedly and checked for their breaths. Luckily, they were still breathing and it seemed like they had just fainted.

However, judging from their bodies, they must have been pulled out of the water.

"Let me do it!"

There was a man in swimming trunks beside him, who seemed like a lifeguard. He carried Hendric on his shoulder and then shook him a few times with his head facing down. After a while, Hendric began to cough violently, as if the water from his mouth and nose was coming out.

"Ahem."

Hendric coughed violently, whereas the man began to try to resuscitate Xenia.

Skylar held Hendric in his arms as he asked, "Hendric, are you okay?"

After some time, Hendric opened his eyes, looking at Skylar. He looked pale and did not speak.

"What happened?"

After confirming that Hendric was awake, Skylar felt relieved. He then asked a boy next to him.

The boy looked like he was about twenty years old. He was blonde and was wearing earrings. He just came along for the ride. Therefore, when Skylar asked him, he only shook his head dazedly, "I don't know either, they just suddenly fell/"

The boy said as he looked up and pointed at the floor above.

Skylar looked up and thought. The club behind was not high. Only the window on the second floor was opened; they must have fallen from the second floor.

However, how was it possible that they just fell off the building all of a sudden?

By the time Sabella and Stephan came down, Skylar was already in a bad mood.

"President Holland, what happened?"

Sabella asked worriedly. However, when she saw how pale Hendric looked in Skylar's arms, she figured out what had happened.

At that time, the ambulance had also arrived at the scene.

Skylar ignored her. He held Hendric, letting the paramedic carry Xenia into the ambulance on a stretcher.

"President Holland, I'll go too."

Sabella stood behind Skylar. Even though she knew that he wasn't in a good mood, she still followed him.

She thought that she already had her plan laid out that day. However, it had to be called off because of Xenia and Hendric's accident!

"No need."

Skylar held Hendric while squinting at Sabella, who was following him. He was emotionless, speaking in a cold tone.

He was irritated right then. Hendric had been ill, and now it was made worse with that fall.

Nevertheless, Xenia was a close friend of Coralie's. He had asked Xenia for help, yet now she had gotten into an accident. How could he explain to Coralie if anything bad happened to Xenia?

After Skylar got on the ambulance, Sabella turned around and noticed that Stephan was slowly making his way through from behind. She broke into her innate character and fierily questioned, "What happened? How did they fall down? If it hadn't happened, Skylar would have already drunk that glass of champagne!"

She had put a drug into the champagne. She had initially planned for Skylar to fall asleep, so that she could act out a few poses next to him and let Skylar be responsible for it.

But now, Hendric fell into the water. It was obvious from Skylar's expression that he had already put the blame on her!

Sabella felt that she had been facing obstacles in everything that she did. Skylar even misunderstood her now.

"I've already reported the case to the police. Why are you in such a hurry? They will look into it."

Stephen felt that as long as there was no casualty, it was not a big deal. At most, he would just have to fork out money for compensation.

"Look into it? Now that he doubts me, he will definitely not befriend me in future. It wasn't easy for me to finally get on his good side. It's great now; all my effort has gone in vain!"

Sabella was furious. She did not care about Xenia nor Hendric at all. She was just furious that the incident had ruined her plan!

"What are you afraid of? After the matter is settled, I will look for him and make him apologize for wronging my precious daughter."

Stephan took it better than her.

Hendric was still young, but Xenia was an adult. Hence, her testimony was the most effective.

Xenia shook her head, "I can't seem to remember. I have a very vague memory of that night."

After hearing that, Harvey seemed to have a clue, "She may have short-term memory loss caused by a concussion."

"Memory loss?"

"Yes, but it is usually for a short period of time. She should be able to regain her memory after some time."

Harvey had come across lots of similar cases.

The way to gain evidence from Xenia was crushed, so the police could only leave. Skylar was worried, so he followed behind and asked about the situation.

"Mr. Holland, as there were no security cameras inside the clubhouse, we only checked the one outside. Right before Ms. Lowell fell into the pool, she turned around, which indicates that she was conscious for sure at that point of time. There is no new discovery for now."

As they had just begun to investigate the case, there was not much information yet.

After sending off the police, Skylar hung around in the corridor alone before going up.

Now that Coralie had been taken away by Yohan and Hendric was involved in that accident, Skylar was in a terrible mood. Two of the most precious people in his life, his wife and his son, were both in mishaps. Sometimes, Skylar really doubted his competency.

Coralie had stayed in the mansion in S country with Yohan for some time now. As she was "obedient", Yohan allowed her to walk around in the garden in leg-cuffs.

Of course, she was always accompanied by the servants.

Two weeks later, Yohan told Coralie in the morning, "Skylar has already departed to S City in S Country, I didn't expect him to be so calm."

Yohan had to admit that he was very surprised. He thought that Skylar would have departed on the second day he arrived at S Country.
