Jasper was stunned. He quickly said, "Mom!"

Jasper did not expect that. Coralie, on the other hand, had long expected that Amenda would hate her. Coralie's biological mother, Madison, gave birth to Coralie after having an affair with Houston. Although Madison did not know that she was being a mistress while seeing Houston, still, it wasn't something to be proud of after all.

"Why did you ask her to come here? What do you want to tell me?"

Amenda looked at Jasper, annoyed.

She always had a fiery look. It was even more frightening when she looked irritated.

Although she did not look furious, Coralie could tell that it was merely a disguise. A storm was about to happen.

"Auntie Amenda, please take back what you just said. It's not my mother's fault that she gave birth to me with Uncle Zac!"

Coralie had been contemplating her line to word it so it would not have triggered Amenda.

Although Madison passed away after giving birth to Coralie, she was still her biological mother after all. Coralie couldn't ignore the fact that her mother was being insulted.

"Isn't that so? Didn't you know that she's a mistress?"

Amenda pursed her lips, unladylike at all.

"I believe my mother would definitely not have had any relationship with Uncle Zac if she had known that he was married."

"You're not your mother. How would you know?"

"If my mother was that kind of person, she wouldn't have left us behind after finding out that Uncle Zac had a family."

Coralie tried to reason with Amenda!

Although Coralie only learned what happened from others after Madison passed away, she believed that Madison was a virtuous person.

"Was not knowing about it a legitimate excuse for her to be a mistress?"

Over the years, Amenda's hatred toward Madison had never reduced because of Madison's death. She had always despised Madison. She felt that it was Madison who seduced Houston, to begin with.

"Auntie Amenda, how is it her fault when she didn't know Uncle Zac was a married man? How is that an excuse?

Coralie realized that Amenda had been blinded by hatred. She was being unreasonable.

Listening to the arguments between Coralie and Amendia, Jasper never expected that this would happen. He finally understood why Coralie said in the car that he did not understand women.

Coralie had already known things would have turned out that way.

"Mom, let bygones be bygones. After all, Coralie is still Dad's daughter."

Jasper tried to calm Amenda down.

However, it angered Amenda instead. "So what? Do you expect me to accept her?"

Jasper lost his temper.

"Auntie Amenda, don't worry. The Zac family is out of my league."

Coralie knew that she did not belong to both the Zac and Holland families. Nor did she have any interest in them too.

"Jasper, tell me, why did you bring this woman here today?"

Amenda looked at Coralie. She really did look like Madison.

"Valerie injured her leg because she wanted to save Coralie. I wanted to bring her here to tell you that."

Jasper had always been a domineering president. However, in front of Amenda, he looked like a powerless pawn.

After Coralie got out of the Zac family, Jasper snapped, "Coralie, I wanted you to help me but why did you quarrel with my mother instead?"

"Mr. Zac, I told you, your mother wouldn't like me."

Coralie looked at Jasper, shrugging her shoulders. "She was convinced that my mother was a mistress. How would she like me?"

Coralie did not expect that Yohan had been thinking about that all this while. However, she did mention that they would only get married after Hera was able to walk.

Of course, she couldn't break her promise. It was Yohan who invited this team of specialists. Otherwise, Hera would not recover too.

"Ok, let's do it."

Coralie nodded.

"We will have the wedding after two weeks then. I'll get the designer to take your measurements and customize a wedding gown for you."

"Ok."

Coralie could only agree.

Coralie took the iPad. The dress looked gorgeous even though it was just a draft. It had a pair of bubble sleeves, just like what the Disney princesses would wear.

"What do you think?"

The designer asked Coralie as saw her staring blankly at the draft.

"Did Mr. Leonardo give his opinion on this gown?"

"Wow, you could even tell that? Mr. Leonardo mentioned that he wanted a white wedding gown, just like the one Snow White wore."

Coralie was not as surprised as the designer.

It was because she knew that from Yohan's point of view, she was still a little girl who was fond of princess dresses. He never thought that Coralie would change, and this included her likings.
