Lillian and Lauren immediately held their tongues as soon as they saw Coralie descending the stairs.

Both of them looked at Coralie warily.

"I didn't hear anything. Please continue."

Coralie purposefully remarked, and then went on her way to the kitchen.

The two sisters in the living room did not say anything else.

Coralie returned to the bedroom and handed the milk bottle to Hendric. After Hendric was done with his milk, instead of going back to sleep, he hugged Coralie by the neck and asked, "Mom, starting from tomorrow, is it true that I won't be able to meet you regularly again? Will I have to wait for a long time before seeing you?"

Coralie felt a sad tug on her heart upon hearing her son's question.

This matter could only be resolved after Skylar's return. He would have to talk to Lilian.

"Just be patient, until your father returns, then we would not need to send you away to boarding school anymore. When the day comes, you will then be able to see us every day."
