"Okay."
Ricky looked back.
"Shelly, there you are."
Charlotte waved at Shelly, "Help me pull the curtains open, I just woke up and missed breakfast. Had to call Ricky over and tell him to get the food."
In fact, Charlotte was deliberately explaining. After all, she and Ricky were all alone in the same room, and it might look weird.
The good thing was that she knew how brainless and careless Shelly was, so she could just muddle through.
"Oh, so that’s the case. It's good to have someone at your disposal at all times."
Shelly took a seat on the stool next to Charlotte.
And she put the chicken soup down, "My mom made chicken soup for you, and she put a lot of herbs."
"Thank you, she had been so nice to me."
Charlotte said softly.
"You just woke up, you must not have read the news on your phone yet, no wonder you didn't know."
Shelly looked dejected.
"What am I supposed to know?" Charlotte asked suspiciously.
"Hey, don't mention it, just look at the headlines."
Shelly beamed, "It's just … it's so infuriating!"
Charlotte hurriedly took out her phone to have a look, and all the headlines were about Luther and Joyce and there was even a photo of them showing up in front of the hotel room.
