You More Than Anything In The World novel Chapter 1127

Smiling, Benjamin said gently, “Be good and sleep first.”

The moment Arissa met his deep gaze, she blushed inexplicably.

It seemed as if she couldn't sleep without him by her side. She pulled the blanket and covered it over her head.

After changing his clothes and returning to the room, a hint of joy flashed across his eyes when Benjamin saw Arissa hiding under the blanket.

He lifted a corner of the blanket and went under it, lying right next to her.

Arissa was rendered speechless.

As soon as she moved her head away, Benjamin turned it back to make her look into his deep gaze. Her eyes darted around.

“What are you doing?”

Benjamin lifted the corners of his thin lips and smirked. “What do you think?” He lowered his voice deliberately.

Feeling her cheeks flush, Arissa immediately poked her head out of the blanket for a fresh breath of air.

Under the blanket, all she could smell was his breath. It was hard for her to stay calm.

Benjamin also pulled the cover down, his eyes glinting with seductive charm.

Arissa shot daggers at him and turned around to sleep.

Looking at her reddened ears, Benjamin couldn't help moving closer to her and pulling her into his embrace.

Arissa turned her head slightly and spared him a glance. Meanwhile, Benjamin reached out to turn off the light.

“Goodnight!” He kissed the back of her ear and couldn't stop himself from pecking her cheek.

Arissa shrank her neck and stretched out her arm to push him away. “Stop fooling around!”

“You just go ahead and sleep.” Benjamin chuckled.

He continued with what he was doing. Arissa was at a loss for words. How can I fall asleep with him behaving like this?

“Benjamin!” she called sternly.

Only then did Benjamin stop and hug her waist. He rested his chin on her shoulder and exhaled in her neck from time to time, sending a wave of tingling sensation throughout her body.

Arissa's heart thumped hard against her chest. Seeing that he didn't do anything out of line, she gradually calmed herself down.

Soon, she fell asleep.

Hearing her calm breathing, Benjamin kissed her cheek and slept with her in his arms.

The next day, after having breakfast with Darius in the Old Manor, they sent their kids to school and went to the Graham residence.

“Go to the office. You don't have to stay at home to take care of me,” Arissa said as soon as she lay on the bed.

Benjamin stroked her nose. “I'd better stay here and keep you company during this period. Otherwise, the kids are going to blame me for not taking good care of you.”

“Well, they won't know anything if I don't tell them.” Arissa laughed.

The main point was that if he were to stay at home, he would keep a close watch on her. She couldn't even stroll around the garden.

“You don't have a say in this. I can work from home.” Covering her body with the blanket, he said, “Have a rest. I'm going to attend a meeting in the study. If there's anything, get Edwin or give me a call.”

“Okay.” Arissa nodded, not intending to persuade him anymore.

Benjamin stayed with her for a while before going out.

Lying in bed, Arissa thought she couldn't fall asleep. However, to her surprise, she fell asleep soon after.

Benjamin went to the study for a meeting and told Edwin to look after Arissa.

After having the meeting for ten minutes, he stopped it halfway and personally went to the bedroom to check on Arissa. Seeing that she was sleeping, he let out a sigh of relief.

When Arissa woke up, she felt very energetic.

It was around ten o'clock, and Benjamin wasn't in the room.

She got out of bed and washed her face. Then she changed her clothes and went downstairs.

“You're up, Mrs. Graham? Are you hungry? Let me prepare some food for you.” Edwin immediately hurried over when he saw Arissa.

“It's okay, Edwin. Where is Benjamin?” Arissa asked, noticing that he wasn't around.

“Mr. Graham is in the study. I think he's still having the meeting,” Edwin replied.

Arissa nodded and walked over to the living room. “You can continue with your work, Edwin. I'll sit for a while.”

“All right.” Edwin went to the kitchen to get her something to drink.

It didn't take long for him to return to her. “Mrs. Graham, have some tea and cookies first. There's still some time before lunch.”

“Thanks, Edwin!” Arissa said joyfully.
