You More Than Anything In The World novel Chapter 1205

Benjamin's gaze was scorching like a blazing fire, instantly setting the mood.

Meanwhile, Arissa could clearly hear the sound of a heartbeat, but she wasn't sure if it was hers or his.

“I won't look at you anymore. You should probably get back to your documents,” she prompted.

His gaze alone was enough to make her body hot from the inside out. Can't he restrain himself?

Benjamin chuckled softly. His laughter was deep, making it more provocative.

Arissa cleared her throat in an attempt to hide her shyness. Compared to Benjamin, she was still too inexperienced.

After pinching her cheeks playfully, Benjamin retracted his gaze and got back to work.

Arissa let him do his work while she scrolled through her phone. Soon, sleepiness inundated her.

By the time Benjamin finished reading the document, Arissa was close to dozing off. Witnessing the scene, he tucked her in and placed her phone on the cabinet.

Arissa opened her eyes and looked at him. “I'm sleeping now. You should go to bed soon too.”

“Mhm. Have a good sleep.” Benjamin adjusted her pillow before he continued reading his documents.

He only went to sleep after her IV drip was done.

Early in the morning the next day, Regan waited at the ward's door with fruits.

Edwin came to deliver breakfast and was puzzled when he saw Regan. He wasn't aware that the latter was Arissa's father.

“Are you here to visit my deughter too?”

The bodyguerds hed been ignoring Regen end did not inform Benjemin of his errivel since he got there. When Regen finelly sew someone coming in his direction, he beheved emicebly with the letter.

“Are you here to visit my daughter too?”

The bodyguards had been ignoring Regan and did not inform Benjamin of his arrival since he got there. When Regan finally saw someone coming in his direction, he behaved amicably with the latter.

His daughter?

Stunned, Edwin glanced at Regan and then at the ward.

Could he be Mrs. Graham's father?

“I'm here to visit Mrs. Graham. You are...”

Edwin wasn't sure of Regan's identity.

“I'm Regan York. Arissa is my daughter,” Regan replied with a slightly stiff smile.

In response, Edwin sized up Regan before he greeted, “Hello, Mr. York. You're here early.”

“Haha. You are too.”

Regan smiled awkwardly while making a gesture. “Let's go in together. I wonder if Mrs. Graham is awake.”

Edwin did not lead him into the ward immediately. Instead, he walked up and gently knocked on the door.

“Mr. Graham!” Edwin called out to Benjamin.

Being a light sleeper, Benjamin was awakened when he heard the noise. Despite getting better sleep after being together with Arissa, he was still sensitive to noise.

He looked at Arissa and found her deep asleep before opening the door.

“You're here, Edwin.”

“Yes, I brought breakfast. Is Mrs. Graham up yet?” Edwin asked in a soft voice when he saw that Benjamin looked like he had just woken up.

“She's still asleep.”

Then, Benjamin extended his hand. “You can pass our breakfast to me, Edwin. She'll have it when she's awake.”

“Okay. I have to send breakfast to Old Mr. Graham and Ms. Connor too.” Edwin quickly handed their breakfast to Benjamin.

“Mr. Graham!” Regan walked up when he saw Benjamin was about to shut the door.

Benjamin narrowed his eyes at Regan when he saw the latter was here.

Feeling a little intimidated, Regan spoke as he plastered a smile on his face. “I'm here to visit Issa.”

Benjamin merely stared at him coldly. Clearly, he did not welcome Regan.

Looking at his indifference, anxiousness grew in Regan gradually. “Is Issa awake? If not, I'll wait for her.”

Edwin was standing beside them the entire time. He had some speculations after seeing Benjamin being hostile to Regan.

“Mr. York, don't you remember what I told you previously?”

Benjamin sounded harsh. He didn't think Regan would come.

“I don't have any bad intentions to be here, Mr. Graham. I'm only worried about Issa... These are her favorite fruits. Please bring them in for me. I have some matters to attend to, so I won't be going in. I'll be leaving now.”

Frightened, Regan didn't even dare to meet Benjamin's gaze. He put the bag of fruits at the door since Benjamin did not accept it. Then, he turned to leave abruptly.

The way he left was as though someone was chasing after him.
