You're The Best Medicine For Me novel Chapter 102

Shirley Thomas took the medicine prepared by Darcy Clark and left the consulting room.

Just after Shirley and Mildred Walker left the consulting room, Darcy’s phone rang in the drawer.

He took out his cell phone to check, and then picked up the call from his fiancée with an indifferent “hello”.

“Darcy, I have heard that you know Bryan Moore, and that you have a good relationship with him, so I have something for you to help!”

Darcy suddenly frowned and his voice became colder, “What?”

“I want to be Bryan’s psychologist, but I have heard that he’s quite satisfied with the current one. You have such a good relationship with him, so just tell him to change his current psychologist and replace her with me,” Amelia Jones ordered in a forceful and self-confident way.

Yes, that was an order.

Darcy didn’t like when people talked to him in that way.

What’s more, Amelia’s request was simply an idiotic nonsense.

If the guess was right, the current psychologist surnamed “Thomas” was the person Bryan liked.

No one could replace the person he liked.

“I can’t help you with this. Is there anything else?” Darcy became impatient.

When Amelia heard Darcy’s refusal, she yelled at him angrily, “Darcy, are you a real man? I’m your future wife, and I need your help now. You refused without even trying. Do you know how important this is to me?”

Amelia had been looking for Bryan for one or two days, but she could not find him at all. That made Amelia feel a little bit embarrassed. If she never saw Bryan, how could she become his psychologist?

She didn’t want to lose to Shirley, so, when she heard that Darcy and Bryan were high school good friends, she immediately called her fiancé whom didn’t contact for half a year.

She thought Darcy would obey her and satisfy her request. After all, early this year, it was him who had agreed to that marriage and he also showed a good impression of her, who could imagine that he would dare to reject her in that way?

Darcy’s body leaned back, holding a pen in his hand, and said ruthlessly, “Forget about it, as long as Bryan is still alive, he will probably never replace his current psychologist.”

“Do you know who his current psychologist is? Tell me!” Amelia questioned closely.

Darcy’s lips curled up with a sneer, he took off the phone and directly hung up.

When Amelia heard the “beep” sound of the hang up from the other side of the phone, she immediately took her phone, looked at it, and cursed angrily, “Darcy, you bastard, how did you dare to hang up on me?”

She called Darcy back.

But, instead of answering her call, Darcy blocked her.

“Mr. Clark…don’t embarrass Darcy.” Amelia took Louis’ arm with her both hands and looked up at him.

A pair of red pupils mirrored into Louis’ eyes.

Louis felt that Amelia had a big grievance and said with a serious expression, “Butler Huber, go and call Darcy and tell him to come here.”

“Mr. Clark, it’s not necessary. I’m fine. Darcy really didn’t bully me. I’m serious.”

“So why are you crying? If he didn’t bully you, would you cry?” The young members of the Clark Family were all boys, and after Madam Jones gave birth to Amelia, Louis loved her as a granddaughter, so he didn’t accept her to have any grievance.

If the boys from the Clark Family made Amelia cry, Louis would punish them severely. Over time, the boys of the Clark Family didn’t dare to approach Amelia for fear of receiving a physical punishment from Louis because of her.

Amelia lowered her head and sobbed painfully, “It’s me…it’s my own fault. Mr. Clark, before I was always abroad and the man I worked for passed away, so I wanted to come back living here. But because…I had an argument with a colleague in the studio, my career has been greatly hindered. I heard that Darcy and the eldest son of the Moore Family were good friends, so I wanted to see if I could become the psychologist of Mr. Moore with the intermediation of Darcy. Like that, I would have a place, but I heard that Mr. Moore already has a psychologist, so Darcy was embarrassed.”

“So this is the issue.” Hearing those words, Louis raised his hand and touched Amelia’s head, then he said, “You little girl, if you wanted to work, you should have told me directly, and Mr. Clark would have helped you.”

Amelia looked at Louis in front of her. She secretly felt pleased but said with a touch of sorrow on her face, “Mr. Clark, that colleague has asked me to bet with her.”

“If I don’t become Mr. Moore’s psychologist within one month, I will have to crawl out of City L on my knees. Mr. Clark, now I really regret it. I shouldn’t have let her goad me into this, I shouldn’t have accepted that bet, but…but…that girl recorded me secretly and said that if I back out, she will make public that recording and tell everyone that I am an unfaithful person. Mr. Clark, I’m really scared, I don’t know what to do.”
