Bryan Moore, who was holding the newspaper, paused slightly. He took the newspaper away and looked at her, "Grandma is at home now, accompanied by Jasmine, if I stay, grandma will scold at me. I couldn’t bare her temper.”
Shirley Thomas frowned, "How long have you not been with her?"
When he heard the question, Bryan's expression was in a daze. He frowned, leaned back lightly, and said, "What did grandma talk to you?"
His sharp eye sight made Shirley feel pressured.
She lowered her head, held up the cup of soy milk in front of her, took a big sip. She was struggling with what Jasmine Gomez just said.
Would she tell him to find a wife and give birth to a child as soon as possible to fulfill Madame Moore's hope?
After all, this was what Madame Moore always looking forward to see.
After putting down the soy milk, she looked up at him again, "Bryan, Madame Moore hopes to see you marrying a wife and having children when she is still alive. You should find a suitable partner and marry as soon as possible, so don't let your grandma down."
Bryan couldn’t be calm, he leaned towards Shirley suddenly, put his hands on the table, and stared straight at the woman in front of him, "I have a perfect one. As long as she says yes, I can fulfill my grandma's hope. I’m always waiting for her."
His scorching eye sight and ambiguous words made Shirley clear about his mind at once.
How could she not understand his meaning as he showed his heart with so much enthusiasm?
She lowered her head, avoided looking at him and take a piece of cantaloupe in her mouth using a fork.
"It's impossible for us to be together."
"Why is it impossible?" Bryan said with a sense of frustration, "Don't rush to deny it. Ask yourself, don't you have feelings for me at all?"
"I don’t." Bryan's words annoyed her, and she raised her head to it right after he finished what he said.
He frowned and stared at her straightly.
He didn't believe that she had no feelings for him at all.
Bryan's thin lips curled up and said, "You don’t? Then why did you stay absent-minded after getting off the car last night."
Shirley glanced at him and there was a panic expression on her face, she herself felt so embarrassed now.
She hurriedly lowered her head and said, "I told you, it was because of the auction."
"Really?" Bryan sneered, "What is my shortcoming to make you refuse me? I am willing to treat you and two children with all my heart, and give them including you a complete home. I don't want to see you..."
"Bryan, you said you wouldn't force me." Shirley was anxious, she stand straight and interrupted him.
They had eye contact with each other.
The dining room became quiet in an instant.
Bryan was slightly blushed. He picked up the newspaper and blocked their sights. His voice softened and said, "Yes, I won't force you, but don't push me to find another woman, you are the only one in my heart."
When he was saying the last few words, Bryan put down the newspaper again. His sharp eyes turned to full of gentleness at the moment.
When Shirley saw his eyes, it felt like the string in her heart seemed to be gently plucked by someone.
Sure enough, she couldn't talk to Bryan alone, as long as she talked with him, he would eventually make her don’t know what to do.
She lowered her head and said softly, "I'll ask Mildred to take me to the hospital later. You can go to work."
When the car drove out of the Moores' Manor, Mildred found a black car following them.
Mildred glanced sideways in the rearview mirror and confirmed that the car behind was Bryan’s.
"Hey, Mr. Moore is following you, do you have argument again? He seemed pissed off just now."
"When did you see him had a great mood?" Shirley also glanced at the window, and a black car followed did follow them. She remembered that he had said in the dining room that he was going to the hospital to see Darcy Clark, "He said he was going to the hospital to visit someone, don't make a fuss."
"Wait." Mildred felt that something was wrong, and when she stopped the car at the red street light.
She turned her head and asked, "Did Mr. Moore want to take you to the hospital? But you refused him by calling me over?"
Shirley lowered her head and frowned, her expression was serious.
Mildred sighed and said, "Shirley, why are you doing this?"
Mildred knew that Shirley flipped, but she just refused to admit it.
"Mildred, don't say anything, I don’t know what to do now." Jasmine's words and Bryan’s words still greatly affected her.
Madame Moore hoped to see Bryan marry someone and having kid when she was still alive. Although he had not yet married yet, he had two children. And seeing Madame Moore’s bad complexion this morning made her feel full of guilt.
Did this count as...selfish.
She deliberately avoided Bryan to find a space to be quiet and to think about it.
When she arrived at the hospital, Shirley still didn't figure out what to do. After getting out of the car, she walked into the hospital gate with Mildred, but a figure quickly ran past her and hit on her left shoulder.
