"Well, look who we have here." Connor stared at the man with murky eyes and seemed gloomy of his mood.

Maximilian could tell from that the attitude of Connor that this man was by no means an ordinary person.

"Please tell me something about the man, Cassius." Maximilian asked with arms crossed.

Cassius then turned to him and answered, "Sure, Mr. Lee. He is a man from W City, where he owns supreme social status and profound financial resources."

The name of W City seemed to remind Maximilian of something. He remembered that W City was a city near by H city, and enjoyed comparatively better social development relative to the city he lived in. However, this place was also said to be the symbol of chaos and underworlds, and even a man of remarkable power and influence would not dare to get involved ever.

Maximilian had never thought that a single auction as such could even draw the attention of a big shot like this one from W City. While he chose to keep away from the affairs between others and cared about nothing except his Hardy Ganoderma.

Connor, out of the corner of her eyes, glanced at Chief Carr and Maximilian and frowned, "Stop playing stupid jokes on me, Rowen. Please take your seat." He knew that Rowen was trying to provoke dissension between him and the others including Chief Carr and Maximilian in H city.

Being annoyed inside to meet the failure of his conspiracy, Rowen sat down, looked at Maximilian up and down and sneered, "Well, Boss Davies, could you please introduce this friend of yours to me?"

Though he was seen calm and confident from the expression of his face, Connor, staring at Rowen silently, was at the moment dumbed and at a loss inside to explain anything to conceal the identity of Maximilian. He knew what the sort of people Rowen was, and telling him the identity of Maximilian would definitely bring trouble and chaos to his friend.
