The assistant began to panic as he saw Rowen greet Maximilian in such a modest manner. He just couldn't imagine how such a plain and characterless man could ever get acquainted with Rowen.

With a sip of saliva swallowed down his throat, he felt rumpled and realized that he had gotten himself messed with a tough one.

As their faces twisted, those strong fellows gasped in panic and could tell from the voice that the man from the other end was Rowen. Then, hostilely, they turned to the assistant.
