Harriet was forced to say it in public.
Cullen patted Harriet on the shoulder and said, "I'm here. Don't be afraid. I'll help you."
Hearing that, Harriet was calm. With Cullen around, how dare Xavier do anything to her?
She raised her head and looked at Xavier, "Yes."
Xavier glanced at her, "Fine."
Xavier opened the file on the table and there was a call record inside. It was Harriet's. It was clear who she had called, when, and how long each call lasted.
Xavier pointed to Rufus', phone number and asked, "Please tell me why did you call him so frequently?"
Harriet's fingers curled up little by little, but she was calm. After all, it was not evidence, "Can't I talk to my friend?"
Cullen, on the other hand, frowned. His deep wrinkles were deeper.
When his son had an accident, he found that Mr. Gates has something to do with that, but there was no evidence.
How could Harriet be with Rufus? They seemed to be in contact quite frequently.
Xavier was not in a hurry to expose it. He leaned back on the sofa and held a cigarette in his mouth. After lighting it, he took a deep breath and looked at Harriet through the smoke.
They had known each other for a long time. Xavier realized that this woman had probably never shown her true feelings.
He had been with her for almost four years.
'Am I stupid?'
Xavier smiled sarcastically at himself.
All of a sudden, Xavier bent down and placed his hands casually on his legs, staring at her. "Harriet, tell me, how long and what do you talk about?"
Everyone looked at her.
Obviously, it couldn't be just a few seconds or two minutes.
Because the longest call in the call history was only two minutes, so it didn't seem that they had chatted.
Henry looked at the time on the call log and narrowed his eyes. Rufus appeared twice at the villa at the same time.
The first time, Henry went to the villa to see Ryan. It was about ten o'clock in the morning, and Harriet's phone records showed that she had called Rufus at nine o'clock. The second time Henry went to the villa when Xavier came back. When they left for the villa, Harriet and Rufus also spoke on the phone. The call only lasted a few seconds.
The call was like a reminder or a notice.
Was it a coincidence?
Henry glanced at Harriet more meaningfully.
Harriet panicked and explained in a panic, "Of course, we don't have something to talk about. So we talked for a short time."
She grabbed Cullen's sleeve, "Grandpa, I don't care. I don't want to be interrogated like a prisoner."
Cullen looked at her confused eyes and understood.
He was so disappointed in her.
Cullen held the top of the armrest of the wheelchair tightly and said solemnly. Because he was already old, he spoke in a not that powerful way, "How can you just admit it after being wronged? It's the way children from the Porter Family will do."
Harriet was stunned. This sentence completely messed her up.
She threw herself into Cullen's arms, "Grandpa, I'm just afraid..."
Cullen pushed her up, "What are you afraid of? The call record doesn't prove anything."
"Miss, you'd better sit down." The deputy officer behind Cullen pulled Harriet up.
Harriet lowered her head and was in a mess. She couldn't help but look at the file on the table. It seemed that there was something inside.
'What could it be?'
