"Rufus, don't you ever say that!" She was also annoyed. "If you are a man, then act like one!"
He stared at her with anger in his eyes. "Like a man?"
"Yes, look at how weak you are!" If he could be half as good as Xavier, in appearance or ability, she would try to accept him and live with him.
However, besides fooling around outside, he relied on Mr. Gates's status in the officialdom to do illegal business to earn some dirty money.
What ability did he have? Without Mr. Gates, he was nothing.
"After living with you for so many years, I know you too well. I gave you many chances, but you never cherished it."
Rufus narrowed his bloodshot eyes. "In your eyes, am I nothing compared with Xavier?"
"Yes, you're never as good as him!" Georgina said slowly.
Her face turned pale. "Rufus, let me go!"
"No way!" He pulled off his tie and tied her hand.
Her eyes widened in fear. She struggled hard and shouted, "Rufus, what are you doing?"
He smiled. "You'll feel good later."
"Don't touch me!" She roared hysterically.
He tied her hands and threw her on the bed.
She got dizzy and was in a daze as she watched Rufus take out a small white bottle from the drawer and walk towards her. "You'd better let go of me, or..."
Before she could finish her sentence, he grabbed her hair, opened the lid of the white bottle with his teeth, and poured its contents into her mouth.
To a man, being looked down upon and blatant betrayal was an absolute insult.
The trampling of dignity.
Georgina might not have cheated physically, but she never loved him.
This was even worse.
Rufus also wanted to win her over, but she was simply ignoring him.
