"Excuse me, everybody. I announce that my daughter's engagement with Rufus is invalid. My daughter will not marry Rufus. Thank you for your time."

"Mr. Woody, what do you mean?" Rufus's face contorted. Just as there was a slight disturbance, he wanted to break off the engagement. Is he afraid that it would implicate him?
