Coming out of the WS Group, Georgina stood on the side of the road, looking up at the blinding sunlight. She narrowed her eyes, in front of which was a burning red.
She didn't suddenly see the light due to Xavier's words, but grew more and more resentful, thinking that all he said were excuses.
She picked up her purse and got into the car. Just as she was about to leave, the phone in her bag rang. She took it out and pressed the answer button. It was from kindergarten. Easton fought with another child in the kindergarten. The teacher asked her to come over.
She put down her phone and started the car to drive towards the kindergarten.
In the teacher's office, Easton and the child who was fighting with him were standing there. The parents of the child were sitting on a chair, staring at Easton unfriendly. When they saw Georgina come in, they immediately stood up. "You're Easton's mother?"
Georgina nodded. "I am!"
"Look, your son scratched my son's face. How can he be so rude?"
Georgina didn't look good either. "I don't believe my son would hit your son for no reason."
The parents turned to the teacher. "Look at this rude mother?"
The teacher was in a stalemate, unwilling to offend neither side.
"You can tell from the adult how ill-bred the child is..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Easton came up and pushed her. "You're ill-bred, and so is your son. I want to hit him and at best hit him to death!"
"Jimmy!" Georgina pulled Easton over and scolded, "How can you say that!"
"Why can't I say that?" Easton asked back.
Georgina was patient. "You're classmates. You can't talk like this..."
"He said my father was a stud, so I just wanted to hit him!" Easton shouted at Georgina.
In an instant, everyone's faces turned bad. How could a child know such a word?
Didn't he hear it from the adult?
Georgina stood up, looked at the teacher, and then at the child's parents. "Who said that?"
"Who the hell said that?"
"My mom and dad said in the room. I heard them. What's wrong?" The child who was scratched by Easton looked up and felt that he was right. He was telling the truth.
This was the best kindergarten in W City. The children who could study here were almost born in rich families.
The news of Mr. Gates being taken away that day spread in W City, and everyone knew that the Gates Family was going to fall.
Before, it was a fact that Rufus liked to fool around. Everyone in the circle knew, however, they didn't dare to say it openly before because the Gates Family was powerful. But now, nobody was afraid.
As the saying went, "When a tree falls, the monkey scatters."
This was the reality. If you had money and connections, you were in charge, but without them, everyone dared to humiliate you.
Georgina glared at them. "You said that?"
They were unhappy with Georgina's glare and looked up. "Isn't what we said true?"
Georgina could not refute a single word. She pulled Easton and said, "Come home with me."
"Mommy, it is not my fault!"
"Shut up!" Georgina felt extremely aggrieved. She didn't do anything to hurt anyone.
Just because of the Gates Family, just because she married Rufus, she had to suffer such humiliation.
Ryan was playing with other children on the playground. When Georgina came out and saw him, she stopped. Arya's son was also in this kindergarten?
When did he come? Why hadn't she seen him before?
She frowned deeply.
Easton followed Georgina's gaze and saw her at Ryan. "We're in the same class."
"Really?" Georgina asked.
