A Bride’s Revenge No Longer the Backup novel Chapter 18

Chapter 18

“Since you’re the one who made the promise, Ms. Lambert, then you should think of a solution yourself.”

Arian then turned to the maid by the side, Summer Sanchez, and said, “Summer, arrange for a hotel room for Ms. Piper here. Ms. Piper can stay there for however long she wishes to However, she needs to know who the real head of this household is. Ms. Piper, don’t you think so?”

Ariana hadn’t missed the look Fiona gave her earlier. When Fiona heard this, a look of fear came over her face at once. She looked toward Gwen for help.

Gwen flew into a rage and yelled, “Excuse me, Ariana Torrey? You’re not even the head of the household yet, and you’re already throwing your weight around, I see. Don’t forget that I always end up being in charge! How dare you say such a thing to us?”

“Ms. Lambert, I have always been the one in charge of things in the Torrey household. In the past, I only treated you with respect seeing that you were older than me, which was why I handed the reins to you. But you shouldn’t get too used to being the lady of the household.

“If you don’t want Fiona to leave, then, I will make you leave along with her as well.”

“You!”

“I’m sorry, it’s all my fault!” Fiona said, hurriedly speaking up when she saw what was happening. She approached Ariana and said, “Ms. Torrey, I was the one who suddenly showed up unannounced. I’m sorry. I’ll leave right now!”

“You silly goose! You’re too polite for your own good!” Gwen exclaimed in frustration. She then turned to face Ariana and glared at her, saying, “Unless somebody else! You’re a cruel and heartless human being with no sense of empathy!”

Ariana couldn’t be bothered with Gwen. She told Summer, Send Ms. Piper to the hotel. She may leave whenever she’s tired of staying there.”

“Yes, Ms. Torrey.”

Summer then walked over to Fiona. Fiona looked unhappy, but she still left with Summer in the end. She knew that if she didn’t leave today, she probably wouldn’t have the chance to continue staying in this city anymore.

While watching Fiona being led away, Gwen rushed up to her and said, “Fifi, don’t worry. I will fulfill my promises to you. I’ll get you into Glea College in the next two days. Don’t worry about it.”
