At the same time, the members of the Glea College student union started to falter. 

“Eve, are we seriously going to search for Ariana’s exam papers? We’ll be expelled if someone catches us!” 

These people did not have the guts to actually hurt Ariana. All they ever did was badmouth Ariana. After all, there were rumors about an unusual relationship between Ariana and William on campus, and people had witnessed Victor picking Ariana up from campus. 

“Just do as I say. I will back you up if anything happens,” Evelyn offered to take responsibility if anything happened. 

With Brian’s protection, she knew she would never get expelled no matter what happened.

The other two girls dropped their fear, and together, they sneaked into the exam marker’s office. 

The office was empty at this hour. Since the student union had a copy of the keys to the office, they managed to get in quietly. 

Exam papers from today filled the table. Evelyn quickly located her exam papers. Right when she was thinking hard about how to add a thing or two, the two other people had miraculously found Ariana’s exam papers right 

away. 

“How dare Ariana claim she didn’t cheat? It is so obvious! Does she take us as fools?” 

“Right! We struggled to answer those tough questions in the graduation exam, but she managed to fill in everything. She obviously cheated!” 

“Yeah. Considering she had taken a few months off school before this, and her grades were not good to start with, how did she manage to pull this off? Something is wrong.” 

They chattered about Ariana’s answers. Evelyn quickly went up to check on it too. 

Ariana had filled the paper. Her handwriting might be messy, but the content still made sense for students who studied finance. 

“Like I guessed, she had gotten the answers ahead of time. Evelyn–clutched Ariana’s papers tightly. 

Brian was the one who had given instructions to change the questions at the very last minute. So, who could be that culprit who offered Ariana the answers? 

Consumed by jealousy, Evelyn instinctively tore Ariana’s papers into pieces. 

“Eve!” The other girls were shocked when Evelyn shredded those papers. They sensed grave trouble. What were they going to do? 

It finally dawned on Evelyn that she had committed a mistake by tearing up Ariana’s papers. 

Once she calmed down, she hissed, “Keep this a secret! Find another set of papers and write Ariana’s name and student ID on it!” 

“Okay! Sure!” The girls fought their panic and found a set of empty exam papers. Evelyn quickly wrote down Ariana’s name and student ID on it.. 

Then, with the flashlight, they put back Ariana’s exam papers while copying some of Ariana’s answers to their exam papers. 

At first, Evelyn was too prideful to copy answers, but she finally caved in as she wanted to graduate.
