Chapter 382
Christopher walked over to his desk and called the head of the faculty. He said sternly, “Expel Evelyn Granger right away and order her to withdraw from school!”
The leader of the disciplinary committee observed Christopher’s reaction and wrote something on his clipboard. Then, he said, “Mr. Gail, Evelyn Granger’s case is settled. Now, it’s time to discuss your situation.”
“What? My situation?”
Christopher was stunned.
What did it have to do with him? Why would the disciplinary committee investigate him?
“According to our information, there was a post on the school’s official site the day before yesterday. It directly accused Evelyn of cheating, but the school took no action and instead blocked all related posts, suppressing the entire matter. Is that correct?”
When Christopher heard this, he suddenly felt uneasy.
Could it be the disciplinary committee suspected he had taken a bribe from Evelyn and ignored her cheating?
Christopher felt wronged. He hadn’t taken a single penny.
