A Dish Best Served Cold (The Man In Rage) novel Chapter 1664

Boom!

An ear-piercing explosion told everyone that Chu Zhengliang's attack had landed on Ye Fan.

His incredible power was surreal, and his nephew was obviously having some difficulty dealing with it.

The latter blocked the attack, but it still sent him flying a hundred meters backward.

On top of that, every step Ye Fan made had left a deep impression on the ground.

He backed away for over ten steps before he finally stopped.

That wasn't the worst, though. Ye Fan could feel something swirling in his chest.

In the end, he couldn't hold it in and spat out a mouthful of blood.

Chu Zhengliang, however, wasn't happy at the sight.

His frown intensified.

“Good job, Chu Tianfan. I thought you'd, at most, be able to withstand two of my moves. You truly surprised me by surviving both. I guess you have grown to become more powerful during your time away,” Chu Zhengliang sneered. His aging eyes shone with cruelty as his heart craved Ye Fan's death.

That was not their first battle. Two years ago, they fought near the Pacific Ocean.

Ye Fan was already ranked as a Supreme fighter at the time, but his power was still limited.

If Ye Fan had remained as powerful as he had been back then, he would've definitely fallen after being struck by those two moves.

But now... He may be hurt, but he can still fight!

The incredible rate at which Ye Fan grew made it impossible for Chu Zhengliang to ignore.

I have to kill him now. If I don't, he will become stronger and threaten the Chu family's future.

The evil aura oozing out of Chu Zhengliang worsened when he thought about that.

“We've spent enough time at this, and we should end it now. It's as I said earlier, I will kill you in three moves!” Chu Zhengliang sneered. His power flushed out of his body once more.

The head of the Chu family murmured under the sky as he drew a symbol in the air.

His elemental force seeped out as though it was somehow a howling river.

It moved and swirled. As time passed, a green dragon gradually showed up behind him.

“l-ls that the most powerful of the Chu Sect Fatal Moves, Green Celestial Dragon?”

The members of the Chu Sect weren't the only surprised ones. The Sword Saint and the other martial arts leaders were taken aback as well.

The Chu Sect Fatal Moves were some of Chu Sect's most powerful moves.

All higher-ups of the sect could perform those moves.

However, every single one of them had their own unique way of attacking. That was why the effects of those moves were different. It depended on its users.

Some years ago, Chu Qitian led a bunch of fighters from Chu Sect and used those moves on Ye Fan too.

Unfortunately, those attacks did no actual damage to him.

Chu Zhengliang had only used two of those moves, but Ye Fan was already spitting blood.

That proved just how powerful his uncle truly was.

“No wonder he's the head of the family. I can't believe he actually managed to materialize the green dragon.

I guess a practitioner really needs to use Invoke the Celestial Cloud to hone the Chu Sect Fatal Moves to perfection,” gasped an elder of the Chu family.

They were well-versed with the Chu Sect Fatal Moves, but none of them could make it as powerful as Chu Zhengliang did.

“That is only right. The Chu Sect Fatal Moves is a secret technique that has been passed down within my family. My ancestor only shared the secret technique with its top members because back then, they wanted to strengthen the Chu Sect.

“However, only members of the Chu family can truly master those techniques and make the most out of it. My dad has used all three Chu Sect Fatal Moves today.

The first two moves wounded that b*stard. This last move will be a great way to send him right to hell! It's as my dad has said. It's time to put an end to it all.”

Chu Qitian's delighted laughter filled everybody's ears.

As he spoke, he picked up a glass of champagne from the table and sipped it as though he were celebrating in advance.

Chu Zhengliang finished preparing while everyone was still discussing the matter.
