Inside the car, Dylan looked at Natalie with concern. He had heard every word of their conversation earlier in the car, and he knew it was Natalie's retaliation against Irwin.
Previously, waves had been stirred up in Wexford. Now, it was Irwin's turn to deal with the aftermath.
Natalie didn't intend to let anything slide.
Dylan cautiously said, "The relationship between Mr. Frazier and Mr. Spencer is quite special. I hope you can consider this matter carefully before making a decision."
Clearly, it was a reminder to Natalie that some things shouldn't be taken too far.
After all, Irwin and Caleb have been friends for so many years. What did she intend to do if something were to happen on Natalie's end?
"Mr. Warren, you don't need to worry about these matters."
Caleb knew the current relationship between her and Irwin. If he could directly approach her despite that, there was nothing Natalie needed to be concerned about.
Dylan furrowed his brows at Natalie's words. "Mr. Frazier is actually a pitiful man in this situation. Do you have to go this far?"
In terms of emotions, at least from Dylan's perspective, Irwin was the one who had been hurt.
"He's pitiful? Mr. Warren, are you joking?"
Irwin was pitiful?
If he was pitiful after all he had done, then no one else in this world could be described as pitiful!
"In fact, Ms. Russell isn't as important as you think," Dylan added.
"Mr. Warren!" Natalie's tone grew stern, indicating she didn't want to continue discussing this topic.
Blair wasn't as important as she thought?
If Blair wasn't important, why did Irwin scheme for ten years?
If Blair wasn't important, why did Cedric use Natalie as a substitute for her?
It all boiled down to Natalie's lack of importance, while Blair was significant, at least in Irwin and Cedric's minds.
When he heard the change in Natalie's tone, Dylan understood that there was no point in saying anything further. For Natalie, those memories weighed too heavily. The issues that stemmed from them were far too tangled up, and it was impossible to resolve them.
Dylan dropped Natalie off at Lotus Villa.
When Heather saw Natalie return, she approached her with concern. "What's going on between you and Mr. Spencer?"
It was obvious that Caleb had moved quickly.
Now, the whole of Simeria was whispering that Natalie and Irwin's marriage had come about undoubtedly because of Blair.
Every woman had a bottom line, and they wouldn't allow anyone to trample over it.
Rumors were rampant that Irwin and Natalie would surely divorce. After all, such a reason for marriage wouldn't hold firmly.
The more intense part of the rumors was that Caleb was already waiting. He was even willing to accept Natalie and her ex-husband's daughter!
"Oh, Mom."
"Nat, this..."
Heather's head was pounding now. She was completely unable to understand what was going on.
This was truly...!
Natalie cut off Heather's chaotic thoughts. "It's not what you think it is. I'm exhausted. I'm going to bed."
"N-not what I think? Then what is it?"
Heather was completely confused.
What was happening here?
There better not be another terrible situation awaiting them!
Her mind was about to explode. She couldn't believe that things had come to this.
The rumors now...
It was easy to imagine how intense the scene would be when it unfolded...!
-
Meanwhile, Irwin had clearly seen the gossip circulating on the internet. With a sharp thud, he slammed his phone on the desk, his eyes flashing with a dark glint!
When Dylan brought Natalie back, he felt the anger in Irwin's actions.
