"Hey, what are you doing!"
Seeing that a few men are about to bring the woman into the car, Chace quickens his pace and goes up to block them.
A foreigner glances at him with contempt and says, "It’s none of your business. You'd better stay out of it here."
Chace endures his anger and doesn't argue with him. He takes out all the cash in his wallet.
It's a thick stack of dollars, all in denominations of one hundred.
Chace hands the money over and says, "I know you want to have fun! This money is enough for you to have a party for a week. I'll exchange this money for this woman, you don't lose, right?"
The man takes the money. Seeing that the money is indeed much, he winks at his companion.
Another man throws the woman in his arms to Chace.
Chace hurriedly holds the woman. He touches her skin with his fingers and finds that the woman has almost no temperature.
When Chace raises his head again, he sees those foreign men get on the car and leave.
"Damn it! They even want to bully such a woman!" Chace curses.
Therefore, he always likes to travel abroad to do business and earn money from the scum!
After the driver arrives, Chace carries the woman into the car and instructs the driver to go to the hospital.
When Chace sees that the woman is dirty and her clothes are torn, he is very disgusted.
Out of pity, he takes off his coat and covers her body, deciding to send her to the hospital before leaving.
He mutters, "Fortunately, I signed a contract and made a little money. Otherwise, I won't save you!"
God doesn't give him back the money he has lost.
After arriving at the hospital emergency room, the doctor examines the woman and takes off her clothes. The doctor finds that the woman's arms, legs, and back are densely packed with whip marks and stick marks, terrifying.
The blonde female doctor immediately turns to glance at Chace.
Chace immediately raises his hands and explains to the doctor in English, "I didn't do it! I saw someone bullying her and helped her. Don't misunderstand. I don't abuse people."
The punishment for domestic violence is very serious here.
If the female doctor reports the situation to the police, he'll go to jail.
The woman's situation is so serious that Chace doesn't dare to leave. He is afraid that something will happen to that woman and the doctor will look for him, so he waits outside.
Chace can't smoke in the hospital, and after waiting for a long time, he is a little irritated.
It is almost an hour before the female doctor comes out of the ward and says to Chace, "She needs to be hospitalized. Go downstairs to pay the bill. She is pregnant and I will try my best to help her with the best medicine."
Chace is dumbfounded and says, "Damn it! I'm not her boyfriend. Why should I pay?"
"Then call her friend over to pay the bill, and then you can leave."
"I don't know who her friend is!"
"Then you can take her away!" The female doctor says and leaves.
Chace is speechless.
Back where he's from, if doctors don't see the patient's family, they will pay for the patients and help them. Foreign hospitals are so inhumane. If patients don't have money, doctors won't treat them. Anyway, hospitals don't help.
Chace is so angry that he really wants to leave.
Damn it! He's not doing charity work. It doesn't matter if he spends money to send that woman to the hospital. Why does he have to pay for the follow-up treatment?
But thinking of the woman's miserable state, Chace finally sighs and goes to the ATM machine to get the money.
After Chace pays the woman to be hospitalized, the hospital's speed is very fast. They quickly give the woman medicine.
Chace doesn't go anywhere, just stays in the ward.
