Jordan’s POV.

she Listening to Izzy tell about the past five years of her life, I feel proud of her. She did it on her own as had set out to do. But as the last words leave her mouth. I feel sadness and anger from my Mate and I pull her closer to inc 

She turns in my arms, putting her arms around my waist and she inhales deeply. My gut tells me that she needs me to help her gather her courage to 

along the way. My hand runs small circles inue with the rest of the answers and questions she found 

on her back and I feel the tension leaving her body. 

“Princess, I am proud of you. I don’t know if I could have done it. Do you need me to do something for you.” I say through the mind–link. “Just hold on to me. Thave a lot more to say and I am afraid some will get furious when they hear the rest.” She replies. 

I tell her that I will be there every step of the way, that I am not going anywhere. My hands move to her waist as she takes a small step back. 

Izzy’s POV 

Hearing Jordan’s words is exactly what I needed, I relax even more and I gather my thoughts before I turn 

around. 

“Mason, Jordan asked you to pull up the intel. Can you put it on the screen?” I ask. “Of course, Commander Izzy.” He says as he turns around in his chair. 

I shake my head at his words and that sets off Matteo “You are still our Commander. Luna Dagmar did a great job covering for you, but no one could have taken your place. Just deal with it.” He growls. 

Matteo never sugar coats his words and it feels so good to hear his words. I smile at him and I can’t resist saying “Matteo, I have told you before. Don’t use that tone with me. I think two weeks laundry duty for the Squad will help you remember that in the future.” And the look on his face sends us all in to a fit of laughter. 

It breaks the tension I was feeling and I feel that I am ready to tell them the rest of my adventures. 

I see that Mason is ready and I turn my attention to Stephan. Without saying a word he knows what I want him to do and he turns to his laptop. 

“Before I went to see Beta Matthew, Stephan asked me to look in to something in connection to the Evil Moon Pack.” I hear a few gasps and I feel Jordan stiffen behind me. 

I tell them that Stephan had found a few strange things in the Council’s files on those recent attacks. And after searching those scenes I realized that bodies had been drop at the scene, indicating that there were 

no survivors, 

I feel Jordan tense up and Mason turns his head toward Stephan saying “You already knew the answer, when you asked us to look at those pictures.” Stephan nods his head and tells them that he could not tell anyone how he had figured it out. 

I explain that Stephan found other locations as well, bu from much longer ago. And that on the first Tocation I found the same anomaly. That I searched the Pack–house and found the Alpha’s list of Pack- members. That Stephan and I had compared the Alphas list of Pack–members with the list of bodies the 

Council found

“In total they matched, but there was a discrepancy in the amount of children and males.” I explain that at that time we didn’t realize what it could mean and that we thought it was of no importance to the strategy. 

I look around me and see that Beta Rico also found his Mate. “Beta Rico, if someone told you that you either kill Mason or watch your Mate die. What would you chose?” I ask him and I know that they all realize that they did this on purpose. 

“Some of us have seen the results of that. I am just sorry we were too late in most cases. Marcus‘ Mate says. I can tell she has seen the circumstances of the imprisoned Mates and children, the horror on her face says it all. 

“Why would you investigate an attack from that long ago?” Mason asks and I can tell that everyone would like to know the answer. 

“A year before they attacked the Blue Moon Pack, Max took over from his Father. Stephan and I needed to know if there had been any changes in the way they attacked.” I state. 

“The search of the second older location confirmed my suspicions. But it also confirmed that the MO Max used was the same his Father had used.” Explaining to them that they both used the same ruse to keep the Council of their trail stuns most of my Pack–members. 

Dagmar has been staring at the screens during my explanation, when she suddenly gasps. “He was telling the truth. They have been searching for female Alpha’s all those years.” Stephan tells her that he found only a few files in the archives stating missing Alpha daughters, 

Dagmar sees the confused look on my face and tells me about the legend Max had told them about involving female Alphas. After she is finished I know I was just handed the last piece of the puzzle. 

But I know that I have a few more things to say, before I can reveal the most important finding. 

“The second location also confirmed my theory on the purpose of the dead bodies. Between the remnants of the Pack–house I found a lock–box, it contained a rapidly written note, photos and the list of Pack- members.”
