The door to the dorm was pushed open and in strolled Remy who was wearing a joyful smile.
Luna asked why Remy looked so happy. Remy took a sip of water before answering, "Bells, Lunie, did you guys hear about what happened at the car exhibition today? A young and handsome guy threw down four million dollars in cash to buy the newest Bentley! It was so cool!"
Except for Bella, both Luna and Gigi nodded their heads.
Even now, the image of the Bentley would not stray far from Luna's thoughts. She dreamed of being able to ride in a luxurious car of that level one day.
Remy continued in a conspiratorial tone, "Guess what I saw just now when I was on the way up? That very same Bentley! The one that the hot guy bought in cash! Even the temporary license plate is exactly the same! It's so cool! I heard that the owner of the Bentley dropped off a girl from our school too."
Luna's heart pounded in her chest. "That can't be possible," she murmured.
The Bentley that pulled at the heartstrings of so many women—could it really have appeared at Alnewgo University? Had the owner really been driving around a female student of the School of Music? Luna had caught a glimpse of the buyer from afar. He didn't look like a middle-aged man with a pot belly. He looked closer to a tall, young, and handsome man with unimaginably deep pockets.
In her heart, Luna wished that she was the one who got to ride in the Bentley. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
"I'm telling the truth!" Remy said with confidence. "Even the temporary license plate is the same! I even asked the building manager for confirmation. If you don't believe me you can ask her for yourself!"
"Is that so?" Luna wasn't sure what the Bentley's license plate was, but since Remy was so insistent, there was no reason to doubt her. She hummed in agreement before retreating to her room. Luna removed her makeup before climbing into bed.
The same question repeated in her mind over and over again. Just who was the lucky woman who had caught the eye of the Bentley owner?
Bella snuck to the balcony and called Jack. She looked up at the night sky. The snow hadn't let up yet and continued to float slowly down from the sky. "Big Bun, are you sleeping soon?"
